The hotel was very clean and the staff was excellent. The room was nice sized and super clean. Breakfast was great!!

It is a little pricey. I know you get what you pay for, but I have stayed at other places that were a bit cheaper and still offered the same quality.

Location is great for our Maryland trips. Good restaurant selection, easy interstate access. Rooms are a good size. would like to see microwave, but not a show stopper. Have stayed several times now and will continue to use the Scholar on my Maryland runs.

Will save thoughts as it's apparent upgrades are still taking place. The common area would be better served if there was someone tending the bar area for drinks or coffee.

Sound. Could here the people above us running around their room and fighting in the very early hours of the morning on multiple occasions. Woke our baby.

The beds and pillows were very comfotable and the sheets were clean.

There were parts of the parking garage where the lights were not working. Made us nervous.

Location

When we booked, the website said no pets. A dog has been barking incessantly since yesterday, keeping us up. We spoke to the front desk who informed is dogs are allowed. We are paying a dog sitter for our dog or would have brought him. When I called about the dog again today, I was told they would try to find the dog & talk to the people, but there is nothing they can do. The man I spoke to was rude. what a shame the staff allows someone’s dog to ruin our stay. I’m so mad I paid for this and a dog sitter, based on misinformation on Booking.com & Scholarly’s websites.

It was very convenient if you were doing things downtown. It was also only 5 minutes from our daughter's apartment which was nice.

It was confusing getting into the place because it was on a one way street and you could actually turn into the garage before you did your check in which we did not know. I had to wait around for a staff member before I could check in. There were stains on the bed sheets. The jetted hot tub in our room was dirty. It also came out too fast which got all over the floor and there was no way to turn it down as the control did not work. The water pressure in the shower was very low. The mattresses seemed very old. They were so soft you literally sank into the bed which is not good for someone with a bed back. The television did not work and I had to literally reset the entire system to get it on. Overall, a big disappointment. There were no curtains No, only screens. Not good if you like it dark.
