I like everything about this place. Friendly folks at check in. And that is fast and seemless. The rooms are always clean and cozy. Beds are very comfortable, they have a nice TV provider and many channels. There is never any noise or drama, everyone there for the same thing it seems. If you get a view on Guntersville you can be mesmerized by the lights and the water. Hillside is just as nice, you look up a very tall mountain/hill. All in all it is my favorite place to stay. I have zero complaints about this hidden gem.
I like everything, there is nothing wrong with this hotel.

Clean and quiet
I thought it was a little pricey. It would've been nice to have a room with a chair a little more towards relaxing. All I had was an unupolstered office chair

There wasn't any breakfast !! The romm filled up with raw sewage smell to the extend that we couldnt go in the restroom due to the smell coming thru the vent. It eas horrible. The rest was great

It was clean and comfortable
The blowdry did not work and the tv kept going to a screen that would state you needed a code for that channel after watching the Channel for a bit.

The room was clean enough and had been remodeled
Beds were extremely hard. Was not a place for families. More of a fishing hotel for lots of drinking men. Was supposed to be nonsmoking room but room smelled of smoke strongly.
I guess for price I should have not expected a litter more

My son and I went to fish Lake Guntersville. Staying at the Lakeside Inn was a great choice, made our stay even more enjoyable. Clean, comfortable, very nice staff and boat parking. There are stalls for boat and truck to park without disconnecting trailer. There is also power outlets at the boat parking. There is a public boat launch a half mile away, you can see it from the second floor. Grocery store and restaurants next door. 😎

Arrived about 3 hrs to early to get started on our fishing trip on Guntersville Lake an they let us go ahead an check in since room was ready.
And air conditioner in room just about froze us to death. Lol
Really no complaints. They should have had Guntersville maps for out of towners like myself.

The price was right, the room was clean and it was convenient to the places I wanted to go while visiting the area. It was close to shopping, food and the lake. I had plenty of places to walk to exercise.
The pool was out of commission and the ice machine had no ice for me.

Great location to fish Guntersville lake! Great boat parking! 3 minutes to boat launch! Felt like boat was safe in parking lot ! Lot was in good shape. Lots of places to eat close by and grocery store next door!

They at least gave me a first floor room.
Not easy to get to and the room was a smoking room, at least at one time.
