room was beautiful -location and appearance was 1st class. Grounds and decor were impeccable. Quiet was lovely. Every single staff person was a delight and so, so helpful! Right from check in!!

Personal Safety!! Bathrooms all should have grab bars in the bathrooms- in shower and next to toilets. These an be easily purchased . Better HCP access to [pool area - at least extend 1 strip of cement to the pool entrance. Continental breakfast was really bad- store bought everything - no fresh juice, ( and here we are in citrrus captial)home made or bakery pastry or muffin , unripened fruit, tiny butter, no jam. It was a 3 on a scale of 10 -except for yogurt

The room was spacious and very comfortable. Both pools were quiet and very nice. Complimentary breakfast is great. The overall privacy of the place is really nice with great views of the stars at night.

The hotel is incredibly beautiful in every respect. Breakfast is delicious. The internet in the rooms is a bit weak, but that did not bother us at all, because we went to the desert to enjoy the silence.

Loved the invisible service (including drop-off breakfast) for complete privacy. The check-in process is also really easy and wonderful. The casita was so nice, exceeded my expectation. Absolutely fell in love with the whole place!

Quiet desert setting and very quiet room. Bed and room were very comfortable. Light bkfst provided and delivered to the room each morning. Choice of two nice swimming pools to beat the desert heat.

Bed had half a dozen pillows, each thicker than the next. My personal preference is for a thinner pillow, and I would have liked some varied pillow sizes. Poolside furniture needs upgrading. For a desert setting, I was surprised that the hot water in the shower was barely warm, although the hot water in the sinks was fine. Must have been a problem with the shower valve in that particular room. TV reception is somewhat spotty with limited viewing options. Still, advantages outweigh any disadvantages. I'm already looking forward to a return trip in the fall.

The entire southwestern setting and theme of the inn, the peace and quiet of Borrego Springs, the provisions in the room, the breakfast, the hot tub and pool, the outdoor seating areas both front and rear.

More comfortable chairs in the room or at least pads for the chairs, on mornings two and three our breakfast was absent of yogurt, the coffee (horribly strong for our tastes).

Breakfast just ok. Location good and pool was inviting. Nice atmosphere to the inn overall- real dishes, beautiful blanket, comfortable bed.

Room was tight for 2 with little storage/ bureau space. Shower drain was partly clogged. Two reading lamps would have been nice instead of one.

The atmosphere is very private and relaxing. The pool was great and have a wonderful view.

Staffless checkin process but we didn't receive instructions until well after check-in time. When we arrived it took several tries to enter the pin on the door because the hardware is old and it detects a single press on the "0" as two presses. There were 2 crickets in the room when we arrived. I expect exactly 0 crickets in a hotel room. They are unbelievably loud, didn't sleep until 2am when I could finally kill them.

street noise, ineffective and noisy air conditioning, tiny room with insufficient space to store clothes, broken console which housed a refrigerator that was more of a minuscule wine fridge from which the shelves had been removed, no housekeeping, meagre breakfast, chipped toilet seat, cracked sink, disintegrating bathroom floor tile

We loved being right in the desert with the mountains framing our view and sunrise and sunset giving everything a rosy light. We loved having our breakfast brought to our room and the jacuzzi and the hot tub! We loved all the great decor touches everywhere and the birds singing in the morning in the trees and all the lovely plants and bushes including our own cactus and ocotillo in our patio, and we loved the patio!

The floors hadn't been washed for a long time.The tiles in the shower were in disrepair under the window.I have stayed here several times before Travel West bought the hotel.Coporate got rid of all the special ammenties.Fabolous home made breakfasr, home made cookies in the afternoon,Special soaps & lotions.luxurious towelsWe also didn't get the room we booked.We had stayed at the Palo Verde room on the end by the pools before& got the end unit by the lobby.Apparently they consider those 2 units the Palo Verde too nowWhen I called service number no one ever responded
