Location, decoration, pool.

Expensive, little effort with breakfasts. Self service, limited choices, no toast, juice ??

Loved the English garden, the friendly staff, the gorgeous restaurant, and the alpaca!!

The guests above us were noisy and we could hear them walking around. But it’s an older cottage feel, so it wasn’t a big deal and definitely didn’t ruin the experience.

the staff could be a bit more welcoming and attentive. The main receptionist Molly, was very good but most others a bit flat. only option for dinner was the high quality, 4 course fine dining restaurant -great food but expensive and could have done with sone other options for more casual dining.

Not much. Pool unimpressive. Bedding 100% polyester. Toiletries never replaced so we had no shampoo or shower gel. No coffee machine even though that’s mentioned in the description. Breakfast very basic and hot food left in open containers so stone cold.

The quietness away from Oaksbluff and Edgartown was welcomed after a long day dealing with tourists .

Breakfast home fries were good, Egg dish has no flavor and salt/pepper was not on table. Coffee ran out and there was no cream. Blueberry muffins were std store type.

Room very inadequately equipped-no chair or seating, poor lighting,tiny bathroom,no guardrail in tub, very disappointing for $300/night.

The service was exceptional - Sheldon was so hospitable and took care of us during our stay. Lovely place to relax in Martha’s Vineyard

Private beach access, and very closes to the inn. Complimentary bikes for us to bike to the beach. Hiking trail head is literally by the parking lot

Sorry , we did found dirty diapers behind the dresser. The pictures in the website looks more clean and upscale than what we saw in person The bathroom needs to update

Good location

We had an extremely negative experience and expected much better service given the price of the hotel. For starters the checkin and checkout time was 4pm and 11am. The standard is typically 3pm and 12am. When we got inside, we found the hotel and room in a very poor condition. There was black mold all over the shower and the air conditioner. The door in our room was jammed and needed to be forcibly slammed in order to open and close it. The bathroom sink was clogged. We found spiders in our pillow cases and silverfish in the bathroom. The wifi connectivity in the bedroom was poor as well and constantly cut in and out.

. The rooms were dated and small. The hot tub was broken. Breakfast was grab n go and not very good. Dinner at the resturaunt was ok-but a child threw up next to us and it reeked-at no point did anyone-offer to move us or buy us a drink. There were no towels in our room-and house keeping never cleaned our room during our two night stay. When I asked I was told that they were short staffed. The website is totally misleading. The only thing that was good were the gardens and the shuttle to the beach.

Service was HORRBLE at both the hotel and the resturaunt

Location was fantastic. The beach was exceptional. The grounds were peaceful and quiet. Loved that we could take the hotel’s beach chairs and umbrellas.

Door frame was falling off our room’s door, the shower was a trickle, had to request my room be made up when I was paying an elevated room rate. WiFi was iffy.

The pool. The alpaca’s and chicken were fun for the kids.

Most staff we interacted with seemed grump except for Lucy who was exceptionally welcoming and kind. After 7pm there’s no one at the front desk- Which we weren’t aware of upon making the reservation

Just wish the a/c worked better. But a beautiful place with very friendly staff!

The people were great! Breakfasts had somethings special every morning. The grounds outside were impeccable. The three alpaca and chickens were fun to see. Lambert's Cove beach sunset, beautiful...

The room #12 was not worth the money we paid. No view because our windows faced out on the roof of the kitchen and could smell cooking from the vent fans. Our door lock didn't work. The AC temperature controls wasn't functioning properly. The room was claustrophobic! Bathroom was a tight confined area with no hooks to hang our towels. Shower head was fixed position with very little water pressure. Other then room #12 our three night stay was very enjoyable.

Serenity of the place

No place for toiletries in the bathroom and not enough table space in the bedroom.

The serenity, simplicity and beauty. Perfect for a break away from the just and bustle of life.

No bar or dining options during our stay because there was only 70% occupancy.

The grounds are wonderful and has some farm animals on the property. Location was good since we had our own car and could travel to different areas. There is an outdoor pool and you can take a short ride to the beach.
