Nothing. Even the staff/owner wasn't helpful

Where do I begin...ROACHES! There were hundreds of roaches in this motel! The water in the bathtub ran all night. The bedspreads were disgusting and cigarette holes throughout. Insence sticks that have been used were stuck in the holes in the walls, the hvac units are hanging off from the outside, floors both in and out of the hotel were filthy, including the breezeway. Lampshades were dirty and stained. When we finally got to speak to the manager/owner about the situation, he asked if we had pictures and we replied "yes", he then stated that he wasn't giving our money back and walked away.

How close it was to the event I was attending..

The cleanliness and the smell of bleach throughout. Cobwebs on the walls and just nasty upkeep

I loved how close we were to downtown Helen. I traveled with my husband on our first anniversary trip! Definitely worth it if you are on a budget. Staff was great, it was clean! We did call maintenance because we didn’t know how to work the shower and our tv wouldn’t work, however maintenance came in less than 10 minutes and fixed everything! Highly recommend this hotel!

The staff lived there so they literally rolled out of bed when needing to take care of the guests. There are people living there in the rooms, which is fine, except they have chairs, toys, bikes, and stuff all over the place and obstructing the path and stairwells. People are outside smoking and making noise from early morning to who knows what time because we had to keep the TV on to drown them out. The amount of money we paid for this place for 2 days should have been what we paid for a week. And then someone came to "clean" our rooms and they moved stuff around and took all the towels and never left any replacements so luckily we asked for extra towels (we originally were only given 2) and ended up with just the 2 again since they took every clean towel and even the bath rug. We will never go back there and the only reason we did is because it was one of the only places available. Plus they gave no soap so we had to go buy our own or we wouldn't have been able to wash our hands.

The only real positive I can save is that it is close to TMU (my daughters school).

More college parents would stay at this hotel if it looked better on the outside as well as on the inside. This hotel really needs a make over. When checking in the man we not the friendliest!
