supermarket nearby closes at 8pm. at night I did not feel safe walking around alone in the immediate neighborhood.

Everyone was just so friendly and helpful. The facilities were gorgeous. Loved the history of the facilities.

Tried to take a bath... but the shower would not stop drizzling over me...but fully understand the age of the building.

Beautiful building with cozy places to hang out. Very comfortable rooms. Wonderful welcoming staff, nothing was too much trouble. You could tell the staff were happy to be at work. The shuttle was a great benefit and made our stay so convenient. Mandy the concierge went above and beyond.

Spacious and comfortable rooms with high ceilings. Beautiful building overall. Friendly staff and convenient 15 minute guest parking outside.

No vegan options for breakfast. Complimentary shuttle service on weekend nights but takes a while and not available to take us to the train station in the morning. Bedrooms could use a mirror in the room outside the bathroom and/or a full-length mirror.

Great bed and shower. Convenient to my work location. OK breakfast. OK bar.

Room was smallish. Breakfast process was unusual. Bar was very small. Location was not as convenient to restaurants, etc.

Breakfast was delicious and convenient. Staff was very helpful. The building is very cool.

The room did not have a mini fridge. A water bottle filling station in the hallway or something would have been nice.

The uniqueness of the property was very inviting. The bed was very comfortable as were the variety if pillows. The air conditioner worked well and was very quiet. The shower was wonderful. Due to our exercising regime, the hot outdoor temps, and our on foot site seeing, I had the opportunity to take 6 short showers. Water temp and pressure were great. The courtyard was lovely. The packed daily breakfast was a great value.

At first the location was a little disconcerting. But we had no issues whatsoever. We walked back both nights from events that took place at the river front(4th fireworks & Yankees Pirates game without a problem. The grocery store down the street was exceptionally clean and staff was very friendly. But it is located across the street from a housing project of sorts and many of the neighbors have fallen on hard times. We felt safe to go out running every morning very early (before 6) and come back late (10:30 or so(

it was an amazing inn. Felt like I was staying at place they you read about in books. Charming decor. Comfortable bed. Clean. The best breakfast. Amazing staff.

The "grab and go" breakfast was a little underwhelming. It'd be nicer to have it served buffet style.

What an utterly charming building. The rooms were lovely and spacious, and overall the environment was so much more interesting than a cookie-cutter hotel chain. The neighborhood was delightful, the staff couldn't have been more helpful, and the bartender was a MASTER.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the room was clean as well as extremely nice furnished and equipped.
