Very clean. Super friendly staff. Easy to walk to a restaurant.
It took me a minute to figure out the heater but it wasn't a big deal.

Don was an amazing host, we thoroughly enjoyed interacting with him and our conversations. The pride of ownership is evident in this motel, the property is extremely well taken care of and the rooms were spotless and very clean. The rooms were well equipped as well with a decent sized mini-fridge and microwave. The location is central to many great restaurants and shops. The coffee and tea in the morning was excellent as well. Highly recommend this local gem when staying in Custer, you won't be disappointed!

Very friendly owners. Was fun to hear about their experience with Elon Musk in 2014 that resulted in the model getting a Level 2 Tesla charger.

Exceptionally clean. Quiet and comfortable. Excellent location for vacationers doing site seeing. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Price is right. We stayed 4 nights.

What a great stop this was. I travel alot, this little motel is probably the best I've stayed in 5 years on the road. It was super cute and so immaculately clean I hated to mess it up
What a blast from the past, even rhe key brought back great memories! 👍 I will tell everyone I know about this gem of a retro motel

The owners were wonderful. They gave us suggestions for places to eat and told us if we mentioned Rocket Motel we would get a discount. The motel was immaculate, mattress was comfortable, and the location was great. At one point, one of the owners was vacuuming the parking lot and they had someone hose down the exterior entrances due to dust. A retro stay with modern comforts.
