Living room furniture was very uncomfortable. Dining chairs were filthy.

the room had such a strong smell of paint ...the towels in the room were stained ...the room needs some attention...there is a little attic type thing in the ceiling that constantly flips up and down and is quite scary and weird

we didn’t have wifi the whole time, they don’t provide laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent or dish soap or maybe they do but it wasn’t in our unit.

The apartment was cute with a modern open concept layout. It was spacious we never felt cramped and we were 7 in the two bedrooms with four bedrooms apartment. They had pots and pans and some plates, cups and utensils to use but I’d prefer they have disposable ones because of covid, I took my own. It was just a 5 minute walk to the boardwalk. It had a washer and dryer very important for washing the sand out after beach visits. Having the pool available is great because sometimes you get tired of dealing with all the sand. Everything was decent in comparison to other places we have been to. The staff was available for our needs and took care of things we asked for even came promptly after informing them about the the ceiling fans light cover falling off and shattering everywhere. We would definitely stay here again.

The apartments could be cleaned better. It wasn’t filthy but the vents had plenty of dust on them and the walls and doors had stains that could have been wiped off. They could used a better paint so it’s easier to wipe the walls clean. The floor wasn’t mopped because my sons socks were black after walking on it for a few hours. I’m a little bit of a clean freak so I brought my swiffer mop and a small vacuum plus lysol spray and disinfecting wipes and we cleaned up soon as we got there. I do this everywhere I go. The washer never used a lot of water to wash and the dryer never got hot to dry. On our third day there the lamp cover from the ceiling fan fell off and shattered everywhere right after turning the fan on when we got back from the boardwalk, my toddler was under it but thank god no one got hurt. These are all small things that can easily be taken care off and would not prevent us from staying here again.

Broken furniture

We enjoyed our stay at the South Beach Apartments. It was very close to many attractions and amenities that were within walking distance. We were pleased with the space of the apartment but a bit disappointed in the cleanliness. There were stains on the mattress pad cover that were previous guests bodily fluids (yuk!) and the floors made your feet black. We would like to recommend putting mirrors in the bedrooms as well. One mirror makes it more difficult for many people to get ready for their day or evening out. Parking was convenient and close to apartment. The pool was small but served the purpose. We would also like to recommend a restock on the flatware, and baking/cooking kitchenware. We were able to make due with some plastic utensils and a roll of aluminum foil though. I definitely received mixed messages when I contacted the place through the text line. They claimed a $300 security deposit would be taken at time of check in and returned at the end of the stay; this is apparently not the case if you are over 21. Parking does not cost $10 a day either (this is also stated in their fine print) unless they included it into the total cost of the room rate? All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for anyone in need of a nice little place at the beach.

Lack of mirrors. Cleanliness could be improved. Kitchenware should be restocked and replenished.

Good location, access to pool, great parking

The bathroom could have been cleaned. There no extra linens for the sofabed. The oven was dirty. Some of the burners on the stove did not work. The toaster didn’t work.
