The place was clean. The location was close to Ice Castle.
The bedroom very small. Bathrooms are very small like closet size. My husband had no hot water when he tried to take a shower. Heard people talking all night. Had a bad night sleep.

Our room was beautiful with an exceptional deck.

Everybody staying there hiking and trekking were all upbeat with a very positive vibe. The folks running the place are top notch and the place is immaculate. The Notch is what hostelling is all about!

Super clean, super fun super chill. Great for the Appalachian Trail hiker, wandering through the white mountains or just anyone who wants an economical fun choice.

The property owner Serena and Phil were very warm and inviting, making us feel at home right from the start. They went out of their way to assure we had everything we needed and answered any questions we had. The Notch was well equipped to make our stay feel like our home away from home. It was a nice find for an overnight stay and definitely will be back.
There wasn’t much not to like.

Great location with easy access to highway 93
The hostel is located in a charming old house, the room was very cozy with attention to details.
Expect noise levels that are hard to control in an old house like this, squeaky floors and if you are next to the communal kitchen, you will hear all the conversations.
