Breakfast staff very friendly. Clean room

There was a horrible smell on our floor in the evening. I reported it to the person at the desk, she was looking at her phone and didn't bother to come to the desk, but said she would have someone check it out.

We loved how convenient this property was to the Interstate and town. The pool and patio area were also quite nice and you can tell that care has been taken on maintaining the common areas.

The beds are full-sized instead of Queens and not very comfortable. Also, there was a yucky stain in the bottom of the tub that we couldn’t get up. very noisy in the morning with the work crews leaving. I’m

the pool had zero ventilation, so the chlorine was literally burning our eyes. we only stayed about 10 minutes before we had to get out.

The pool needs some work. The chlorine levels have been off the last several times i have stayed.

DOG PEOPLE BEWARE. I specifically booked a pet room & specifically stated that I was traveling with my dog and would like a first-floor room. Confirmation emails from the hotel stated that "the total for your stay is USD $XXX." and “We got you assigned to a first-floor room.” Great. No mention of the dog, but they had obviously read my message. That day I drove 800 miles solo, and, since the room was prepaid, looked forward to just picking up a key. But when I arrived, I was told to pay an ADDITIONAL $25 pet fee. This fee wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the booking site or the hotel's own website, or in the confirmation emails. I pushed back, but did not have the energy to argue. Since the room was prepaid – no refunds – I was stuck. Terrible service, terrible communication, maddening lack of consideration or accountability.
