Net/net we really enjoyed our stay. The facility is nice for the price. You can for sure find better, but they get pricey quick! The location was good between the upper and lower keys, but we found ourselves in Key West a lot, which is an hour and 50 minute drive both ways. Honestly we may do this place again next year and explore more in Islamorada and nearby Keys. There’s some good restaurants very close to the resort…when we weren’t in Key West, we walked places a fair amount.

Parking is a challenge as there’s limited space. They need to trim trees around their sign…hard to spot at first.

We loved the location at La Jolla, central to all we wanted to do, and it was very clean and comfortable.

Clean totally remodeled rooms. Never saw a bug.

Most room have no balconies. On the top of your stairs is 1 wooden chair. The pool is clean, but small. Capacity is 8, with 5 of the same wooden Adirondack chairs. Very uncomfortable. The hotel is right on the main highway, with 24 hour truck traffic noise. Kitchen rooms have an old rusty 2 burner electric cook top.The vibe is from a 60's fishing resort. If your just looking for a clean room, you may be happy, but at 300 a night, i was disappointed.

Shona was very friendly host and super helpful also after hours. The check in was smooth, convenient parking. Hotel right on the west side of the Overseas highway secured some spectacular sunset views. Very spacious rooms, clean, kitchen well equipped. Convenient location to stores, bars, restaurants. This was last minute decision, very good priced as opposed to other similar hotels in the area. Myself and my mom will definitely come back.

I chose bayside room thinking it would be the nicest . Unfortunately it was the worst except for the view . Its the only room there that has not been remolded :( It should not be rented until updated !

Absolutely loved this place! Very private, clean, quiet, quaint & very picturesque. Enjoyed free access to bikes for exploring around. Enjoyed our stay immensely!

Pool available, beach access with places to sit, and kayaks to borrow for free. Free parking available, and restaurants at walkable distance (but have to walk on the roadside). Staff was very nice. Huge walk-in closet in the room. A bit secluded from the road which is good (less noise).

Building has more of a motel feel, but not a factor.
