Some machine - a fan perhaps- woke me up at 3:15 am with a constant whoop whoop sound and seemed like it was coming from the wall behind the desk. It continued for over 30 plus minutes then shut off. Needless to say at 4 in the morning i could not get back to sleep. Which of course was the main reason for the room.

Waited 10 minutes to be seated at breakfast and no one came so went elsewhere.

The front desk was so so. And it was really weird with the Starbucks machine in the lobby.

The room and bathroom seemed modern. Everything was so clean, even the carpet. Loved that we had a microwave and a fridge. Near to the best restaurants.
No parking. You can park in the garage which might be free during holidays.

We had requested and were approved of a king size room. When we arrived we were assigned a handicapped room. When I called the desk they said that was all that was available. If that is true then why were we guaranteed a king room non-handicap beforehand. The receptionist was very short and rude about changing our request and told us it would cost $170 to change rooms. We had been in our room for less than 5 minutes so we unhappily stayed in the room we were assigned

The hotel is great, super confortable room, quiet, everything like new. The restaurant is fantastic and the lobby bar, super cool staff in the restaurant, location is fantastic. The girl in the valet was super helpful.
The reservations dint show up in the hotel, the manager was not very helpful, but the girl in the valet, super friendly use her personal phone to call booking and fix the situation.

We enjoyed Monk's for dinner on Friday night. Overall, the property is just really clean and classy, and the location cannot be beat. Staff were friendly, amenities were appreciated! (We enjoyed being able to get a little tub of ice cream and a half-bottle of wine from the snack bar next to the front desk!)
The lack of (convenient and) available parking is a problem, but that is our only complaint! The fact that we could walk 2-3 blocks to a garage was inconvenient, but parking was free in the Seneca garage -- not sure if this was because the machine wasn't working, but it was nice to not have to pay for parking...

breakfast was fine nothing special. Waitress rather rude initially.Annoyed that I didn't understand her direction. I have a hearing difficulty
We had a suite which was nicely decorated and clean but no dresser, no drawers to unpack into

Location was very convenient. It was in the middle of downtown where all the restaurants and shops are. And also very close from Cornell campus.
Reception area, lobby and dining area in the pub is all too open, visually it was distracting to see huge TV monitor in the reception area.
