For an older place it was very well kept. The room was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Pillows could have been a bit larger and more substantial, but overall quite good.
Staff was young but polite.
Breakfast was a bit disappointing. We got down to it at 9 am and there was almost nothing left to eat. The juice and milk were also empty. Had to settle for a waffle and coffee. When we went back to our room around 9:30 we saw a young man bringing some fresh food out and he appeared to be getting scolded by a older female employee.

Location was great, near Dunes National Park. Very nice breakfast provided!
Sink was clogged. Needs some updates, all around.

The cleaning service was excellent. Liked that UNO was right there.
The manager was not friendly at all. Not one smile looked like she was miserable. We needed towels so we went to the front desk and ask , she was rude told us when we brought back our towels we had she would count them and give us the same amount back because the cleaning service was gone for the day and she would have to go downstairs to get them like we were a inconvenients to her. Made us feel like we were going to steal them . The only time she was half way nice was when we were leaving Imagine that one less guest she had to deal with. Only got to swim one day and it was closed down.Needed chairs on the deck. Loved the historic history it had behind it. The house itself was amazing.

Location
Rooms are cold and damp. The furniture was actually wet due to all of the moisture. The rooms are run down and poorly maintained.

The place was fine for an older place. Great location as we were there for the Sand Dunes Park.
Our entry door was in need of repairs room 311. Had hole in it and was very weak, not very secure feeling. There were no towels in the pool area. But when asked for they were provided. Pool lighting need some new bulbs.

Unique property with lots of potential. Convenient location.
The staff are new/inexperienced. The rooms were clean but house keeping did not come by at all, even when “maid service” sign was hung on the door. The grounds need help. Lots of potential but it seems the owner is only putting in the bare minimum to keep it “nice”. Breakfast everyday was the same, and small.

The location was great, very serene. The room was good and the bed was comfortable. It was clean. The staff were very nice and helpful. There weren't many guests in mid-April, so I was able to watch the giant screen TV by myself and watched an NHL playoff game of my Colorado Avalanche!

Everything was good, was clean, pool was clean and fun. Staff friendly.

Love the location it had a dirty dancing resort vibe which I loved. Rooms were comfy I loved the stay we had a great time.
I think duvet cover needs swapped with every stay as there was some white marks on ours. The bathroom could be cleaned better. I would recommend remodeling the bathrooms other than that I love the room it was just the bathroom for me lol which it wasn't terrible just I'm a perfectionist lol

All of it was very nice, But the jacuzzi in my room the jets were not working until the maintenance came to fix it the next day. by then did not want to get in the jacuzzi then. So, I never got the chance to use the jacuzzi. Other than that the stay was great.

reminds me of a state park lodge which I enjoy. the gathering rooms at the end of each hallway are really nice to play cards, games or foosball! and a beautiful wooded view! clean and older property but I enjoy the charm of imperfection. the restaurant next door is a great convenience.

Perfect location in the forest, entrance decoration was magical, pool water was hot. Kids love it, we love it too. Can’t wait to go there again!

Warm & Cozy lodge hidden in the quiet woods with views overlooking a ravine and creek. Perfect place to be snuggled in for Christmas. Beautiful Christmas tree and roaring fireplace to greet you when you walk in from freezing blizzard and Airport nightmare. Staff was so friendly and welcoming. Felt like I was in a ski lidge in the Vermont Mountains.
The restaurant was closed.
