I like the staff, very friendly and very helpful. I did like the location.. not far from the beach.
The inside was pretty run down, several areas need a coat of paint. There's no outlet close to the sink for hair straightener..it was across the room from mirror. No full length mirror to check out any outfits. The small kitchen and living room were fine though. The bathroom needs the most attention. For the price, it should be cleaner.

Perfect location for us to visit our son and his family just up the street. Got a really good breakfast sandwich from the local eatery next door.

we have stay here before several times over the course of 20 years - it is simple, but clean and very pleasant.
Hurricane this year of course damaged the lush tropical foliage, but the inside was fine and comfortable.

I know the hurricane was bad but it didn't look like they did much since. We had to clean especially under the bed. Added picture.

Had a full kitchen living room and separate bedroom.
I realize that 5 months ago, the hurricane went through this area, but general upkeep is severely lacking. The pool was in need of cleaning, and the pool area was in desperate need of feeding and upkeep. Upon arrival, there was a note on the office door stating the office was closed due to health reasons and to call the office number. Called the number and got a voicemail to leave a message.
The bed would have been much more comfortable if it didn't have a plastic mattress cover, which made it very hot and uncomfortable.

It definitely could have been cleaned a lot better mold in the bathroom on the ceiling door handles on the cabinets were greasy hair balls under the bed and man of dirt dust on the walls and sidewalks could have been cleaned up

WE DID NOT STAY AT THIS FACILITY. I see my reservation wasn't canceled. I called the Motel and Booking.com to tell them I left due to the fact that I didn't feel safe. There was garbage everywhere outside. The front office was under construction, so we were told our front door would be open, and someone would come later to check us in. When we pulled up, we were the only ones at the facility. It looked abandoned. The photos did not paint the picture I was expecting.
I would not recommend Grove City Motel to anyone. IT WAS HORRIBLE
WE DID NOT STAY AT THIS FACILITY. The location was horrible. There was only 1 restaurant, and of course, it was closed. I have already called Booking.com, and I was told they were going to handle this, but I have not heard back, and it's been over 36 hrs.

great location to where we wanted to be and price was reasonable for the place.
minimal cleaning done. office sign says open 10-5, was not open the entire 3 days was there there. called and never got a return call back.

NO Breckfast pool nice too many broken pool furniture very clean over all... landscaping very poor needs major overhaul

The room was somewhat clean and the bed was somewhat comfortable. Oh the air worked good. That was pretty much it!
The area seemed a little shady. Arrived about 12 noon office was locked had to call. He said oh I have u set up in room ---- key is in it. Never seen office staff or saw it opened the 2 days we were there. The pool was ok my husband had to get all the leaves out he worked cleaning it for 30 min or so. The furniture around the pool was broken and unsafe. My husband fell through one of the lounge chairs!! Very unsafe. No tables and no where to sit. The so called garden view is overgrown trees and weeds. No bbq grills in sight! Don't believe the pics on Wed site.....

We had an exceptional experience staying at Grove City Motel. The apartment, that came with a full kitchen, was very clean and equipped with everything we needed to make our stay relaxing and comfortable, including a full size fridge, stove with oven, coffee maker and microwave. The pool was very clean and surrounded by a lush tropical garden. The location was also great, only a few minutes from the Manasota Key Beach!

We stayed in the little cottage and the area needs a lot of cleanup/upkeep to be done - it was not appealing at all walking pass sheds that were half way falling part and rubbish that we had to walk around. Screens on the windows did not keep the mosquitoes out - at one point there were over 20 inside. The bed was SO hard, pretty sure sleeping on the tile floor would have been better.

i like a firm mattress, this was very soft, sore back in the am,,, be nice to have an elect outlet in the bathroom for shaving, may want to check the toile, seem s to run now and then by itself

this is for no.10 which is a detached home. bed was comfortable
kitchen had no drainer for dishes. towels and bedding were dark blue would have preferred white so we know they are clean.
