We love vacationing at Embarc! The rooms are perfect for families and offer everything you need. We also love the pools at the resort.
This stay was our first bad experience. We’ve been staying at Embarc for nearly 10 years and this was the first year our room wasn’t clean. It was extremely dusty and they hadn’t refilled the soaps/shampoos in the showers. The room looked like no one had stayed in it in months. There was also a VERY large roach that we killed in our room and at that point we requested a new room. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and got us moved right away and also discounted/refunded some of our resort fees for the trouble.

great location, very peaceful, and easy walking distance to a variety of shopping and eating establishments. nice shaded walking or running path for a morning jog or evening stroll.

the rooms are very comfortable
I did not like that my check in could be done from 4:00 pm and I had to wait another hour because the room was not yet clean, I did not like that one has to take out the garbage and take it to the garage, other things apart of the price there is a fee of 25$ extra per night that is not in the price when one reserves

Ceiling fan did not work. Curtains had mold. Shower had no bench to shave legs, shower felt dark and dingy. Furniture was old and stained. Sofa sleeper was old springs were sticking out

The room was big
The bottom of pool was stained bad and there were biting bugs for a resort and the cost I expected better. On line it was rated high but it was well below the ratings.

Everything was exceptional! From the staff to the decor of the resort to the location! Picture do this place no justice! This place is Beautifully decorated and very well kept up! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I Didn't like the fact booking.com did not inform us of the 200.00 deposit But this clearly wasn't the resort fault. But after booking the room the resort sent an email informing us it will be one but after the fact we paid in advance and if we would have canceled because of this we wouldn't gotten the room fee back. But like I said not the resorts fault seeing the resort was everything and more I can surely see them asking for a deposit .

lack of USB ports in the rooms. All the best lodging facilities have them. The one on the clock is old style and unusable on the nearest iPhones.

Location is great. Rooms are very spacious and well equipped. Staff was very friendly. All in all a great resort.
The site advertised a game room on location…..well 80% of the games were broken with no plan to repair (they claimed they did not own the games and were renting them but who would pay a rental company for a bunch of broken games?!?)

Location is very good with access to shopping, the beach and amenities. View was great. Loved the balcony.
The hotel didn't have our reservation due to BOOKING.com not having sent it. Room was NOT clean and had minimal updates. The wrist fob is silly as it is difficult to open doors with things in your hand. Too much money and they charged a ridiculous resort fee on top of the price.

There is absolute nothing that I disliked about this hotel. The room was fantastic!
