Location and being a restored paddle steamer.

Breakfast, continental a bit of a con. Just a bit of fruit, a muffin and a yoghurt. Not my idea of a continental breakfast.. A cooked breakfast was available but at a high cost, plus we did not have time as had to be away by 8.00am and breakfast wasn't until 7.30am

The rooms were clean and the staff was so helpful.

You get drink voucher witch was nice but u could only get a certain drink it was not good. It was 3 juices and champagne mix together. Then you get a breakfast and that is were things were shady so the free breakfast was a bowl of fruit lemon poppy seed muffin and yogurt. But you sit in there restaurant and they give you a menu to buy additional breakfast. And you pay $25 dollars for parking they do valet although the parking garage is just down the road.

The setting and service staff in the bar are excellent. We enjoyed our visit to this part of the ship the most. The valet service and front desk staff are very helpfull.

The bathroom lavatory basin has no area to set any toiletries on.

Such a unique experience staying on the Delta King! Truly charming, like taking a step back in time. The Pilothouse Restaurant was excellent and the Bar drinks were on point. 100% would stay again, or even just visit to eat at the restaurant.

Some of the handicap assisted-opening doors randomly start to close halfway to opening all the way, so do watch out for that.

It's was a great view. It was clean and the staff was very friendly.

The viewing patio didn't have chairs (very minor problem) The boat is slightly tilted, took a few.to get used to it.

Great fun to be on historic boat-very impressive overall. Bed was great. Near historical Old Sacramento, which has some interest.

Some staff were robotic and/or semi hostile. Why? Water pressure was weak. Bar was sticky-needs a deep clean Parking was weird. Option of $23.00 valet or free at meters between 10-10. I choose the latter. Lots of homeless and weird activity at night.

Proximity to Old Town.

Cost was exorbitant for the age, condition, and size of the accomodations.

I loved the historic nature of the entire experience. Great views of Tower Bridge, nice river breezes, friendly staff. Easy walking distance to everything I needed to visit - The Capitol, the Railroad Museum, the California Museum, the Crocker, Sutter's Fort, the Stanford Mansion.

Nothing I would term as "dislike", but I wish the window opened in my room - fresh air would have been nice. The rooms are very small, but that was expected and is mentioned here just to be sure others are aware.

The concept of a floating hotel.

Guests entertainment is zero... at least have some jazz/pan pipe background music 🎶 in your lounges, deck restaurant.

We always have a wonderful time when we come for a stay. The bar staff was wonderful and pleasant. Jen, Oscar and Matthew were amazing.

The staff member who checked us in was fine, however, the next day when we went to the lobby to ask some questions the same staff member acted like we were putting him out. He was not very informative and was, in my opinion, not representing the Delta King very well. Also, the complementary breakfast, from other stays, included items that were hot like eggs and bacon. This time the blueberry muffins were burnt. We did not go for the breakfast the next two days of our stay.

While it wasn’t a huge deal, the stairs were a little rough with a large suitcase.

I liked the location right in the mix of Old Sacramento. The unique experience of staying on a riverboat. Valet parking.

Due to the close location of the hotel to Old Sacramento, when we arrived it was extremely congested to drive to the hotel through the neighborhood.

20th Anniversary. Room was small but very nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. Other than the seals 🦭 starting at 5 am it was great! Bring your ear plugs 😂

Room, bar, location were great.

Our "city view" was no view. We could not see anything from our window. The stairs completely blocked any view possible. Breakfast was included with our stay. The person who checked us in gave us wrong information we discovered the next day when we went to go for breakfast. They closed it down early so we could not have breakfast. One employee said they decided to shut it down early due to Easter Brunch but did not help us out in any way. Luckily another staff member stepped in and gave us a few breakfast items to hold over and take to our room. That was very much appreciated.

it is just fun to stay in this unique hotel. We loved the history and feeling like we are contributing.Complimentary drink was very nice, lunch was great as was breakfast.

Too expensive overall which will preclude us from future trips. Would have been nice to have full breakfast included with cost rather than continental.

Breakfast is not included. Only pasties and cereal. Breakfast is extra no matter what you may read.
