The beach was the only aspect of this trip that we were able to enjoy due to the substandard conditions of the unit. The location was good as it afforded us a chance to walk to restaurants and there was a very nice grocery store close by

Unit 2A was not cleaned properly and thus was not completely ready at 4 pm check-in. We called and they dropped off linen the first night, then had to call back and text pictures. This entire trip was to get away with siblings to grieve and scatter parents ashes at sea. We DID NOT need housekeeping running back and forth to DO WHAT WAS SUPPOSED TO ALREADY BE OMPLETE! Our privacy and alone time was the reason we booked this unit. My sister and her husband rented small cottage a block away, and brother stayed in hotel. My husband and I chose to stay on oceanfront unit so that we could have a place to sit and reminisce after our event with Ocean Ashes. But Real Joy management kept wanting to send some stranger out to "reclean" while we were gone. I'm sorry but if you can't clean it the first time, and then LIE that it was, then I do not want you near my personal things unsupervised. I had to go to store and buy cleaning supplies!!!

The location is exceptional. Right on the beach and the pool is just on the other side

The room was dirty. Dust all over walls, mold and hair in bathroom. The coffee pot was broken as were both the vacuum cleaners. My husband fixed all of them including buying a $7 part to fix the vacuum. He also had to snake the bathtub so it would drain. Beds are horribly uncomfortable and the couch looks gross. The fridge froze our food and my daughter cut her foot on a broken tile on the back porch. There was no first aid kit

need ceiling fan in bedroom, pillows in bedroom flat, no laundry detergent, more comfortable deck chairs and table

Room smells muskie! Garbage disposal stopped up. Door off the hinge in bedroom. Dryer blows hot air everywhere. Dishwasher door hard to latch.
