Nicely remodeled/ decorated
Very noisy!! The door to the building slams and shakes the room we were in every time anyone comes and goes from the hotel. The walls are very thin so you hear everyone else. The floors above creak so loud when any one walks. It was very difficult to get rest or sleep.

The smell as you walked in to the hotel was overwhelmingly unpleasant. The fan for the ac in our room was very loud and never turned off, even when we actually turned the ac off it still ran loudly. The shower curtain did not reach the floor so when we showered, there was water all over the floor that we needed to clean up so we wouldn’t slip. This was the least expensive option for the weekend. we needed a room in Santa Barbara and I realize why after staying there. I would not want to spend an entire vacation week here.

Hyatt staff were helpful when communication fopahs were made with booking. com. When supplies were needed, they were delivered right away.

We arrived late and wanted a drink 3 minutes to closing sue chef made it happen (Rusty thanks.) we ended up having accommodation change we stayed in sister branch the MAR MONTE 🏨

the location was odd. the toilet was broken and the staff was rude when I called to report it. the building was old and the rooms were clean but nothing special. Insane for the price I paid for my room.

Very convenient clean pretty and amenities from the more Monte was spectacular

Before my trip I had an accident and requested an accesible room. Made a call to hotel and they were very accommodating, I did not stay at Palmoro, I stayed at Mar Monte next to the Elevator.
I would definitely go back to Mar Monte, excellent and I loved they are pet friendly.

room pictures accurate ! room very updated.
Did not feel safe ! No desk or security on premises — 4 foot electric gate was easily scalable and the exit button did not require any card so anyone could jump short gate and press button.
Also, to get into premises I had to step OUT OF car to use card to open gate. The hotel was across from a park that allows cars and occupants to stay overnight and area was not patrolled or well lit.

view of the homeless encampment across the street. indifferent staff. off site from the main property ( Mar Monte/Hyatt). pay for parking in a gated lot but have to get out of your car to open the gate. no staff on site you have to check in 3 blocks away at the Mar Monte. A thoroughly disappointing experience.

our room was dirty (found human hair balls in the side table) and floor had crumbs on it. hot tub was overflowing and not hot.

All the staff were super friendly and helpful, especially at the busy Lido Cafe. Food at the Lido was very good. (Try the warm olive appetizer, the fried chicken sandwich, and especially the delicious bread pudding.) I liked that our room was a block away from the main hotel - very quiet except for the occasional train whistle. Very much worth the discounted price for a 2 minute stroll to the pool. Gated parking (for an extra $19).
The hot tub was not working properly - lukewarm. This was disappointing since it was one of the main reasons I selected this hotel. It also meant that lots of children were using it as a kiddie pool. Maintenance was apparently working to fix it, but as we were only there one night, we didn’t get to enjoy it.

Would have never booked this room, especially at this rate.
