The ambiance and decor are amazing. The rustic feel is authentic. Our room for our needs, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The room size was just right for us. They were able to accommodate our request for a ground floor room as we have young hyperactive kids and we didn't want to impose on other guests with their kids noises and stumping feet had we been on the second floor or higher. The reception staff are amazing as well. They checked us in smoothly. They went above and beyond to give us a military discount. They made sure we were taken care of. We want to give a shout out to Brittany, John and their GM Cassie (who even mailed me the receipt for the discount!). They set a high bar for those who work in this industry! The breakfast had a great selection, we were stuffed. They had a nice breakfast set up. Extra tables and chairs were in the lobby should they be needed. But they did not detract from the decor, they were tucked in corners-very cozy. It was walking distance to the sights and places to see in their town. The town itself had a lot to offer. The hotel also let us leave out car, after we checked out already so we could ride the sightseeing train up and down the next town over. They had many amenities as well. We didn't have the time to take Ananya of all of them but the gas an indoor pool and jacuzzi, laundry facilities, vending machines, and others. The staff are there if you need anything at all and they make sure you have what you need right away. What more could you ask for? This hotel is amazing. I'm glad we picked this place!

Convenient location if you want to visit Mount Rushmore.

Room was quite dark. I didn't like the paper plates and plastic cutlery fir breakfast.

Upon check in, found the room not clean. The bathroom was disgusting [toilet was full of feces and urine] Didn’t appear the room had been cleaned in days.

The staff was friendly,social and professional.

I enjoyed the stay.

The pool was colder than most.

Good selection and day to day variety of fresh made entrees. Hostess always very attentive.

A whole wheat bread for toast.

Breakfast was great our comfort was great pleased at location to Mt Rushmore.

Friendly Staff Good selection of breakfast items. Love the decor. Very clean. Bed was comfy. Nice hot tub and pool. Love the biscuits and gravy.

I would have given it a ten, but I deducted a couple of points for the rubbery eggs and ham this morning.
