The bed was not comfortable or pillows

The room was cute and well kept. The bathroom was clean.

The pillows were hard and the temperature was difficult to control. There were no lights in the pavilion and no fire pit.

Could use a lamp so you don’t have to use the to bright ceiling light. And somewhere to sit besides the bed would be nice.

The staff was exceptional! My elderly aunt and uncle needed to rest and they were able to check in little early. My son left his white sweat shirt in our room. The owner mailed it to us at no charge! Above and beyond!

Location was great, property was well kept and room was clean. The owners were very friendly and we were able to rent a golf cart at the resort for a much cheaper price than other places on the island.

The only negative thing was no coffee pot in the room and the office did not open until 8:00 where coffee was available. No Decaf coffee and no cream for the coffee. At the price of the room, I expected more.

Don't order your golf cart off of their website. I got the email confirmation that we were charged $50. And got the credit card statement we got charged a week before our stay, no big deal we wanted to prepay as much as we could. When we got there they asked for our card again for the golf cart, and charged us again... so we called and they said they never charged us on their website. So I supposed to email confirmation, and credit card statements were false.... never again will I stay here.

It was clean and the ac worked great.

When we arrived there were no gulf carts and were told there would be some in the morning. We went back in the morning and the guy told us they have to be reserved and were all gone. We did not know this otherwise we would have reserved one. It was a let down for our kids.

I loved the location of the resort, it was far away from the "party" area of the main area. It was quiet and peaceful, but just a short 5 min golf cart ride to the action. The staff is wonderful and went above and beyond to help us out. The rooms are small but exactly what was needed for this trip. The room was clean and had all we needed to a one night stay! I loved having a mini fridge in the room! I love the private pool!! Highly recommended!

The showers could use some updating!

This was a nice, quiet location, yet had a beautiful swimming pool, shelter house, and grills. This cottage style resort is located near the Miller Ferry and State Park Campground. We rented a golf cart right there and was able to get downtown easily, within a few minutes. The price was very reasonable and we would definitely return to Bird Nest Resort.

Beds are uncomfortable

Easy going property, management will work with you. Nice friendly staff, it's a simple room but has everything you need. Comfortable bed good price. We Will stay again.
