This is a great place to stay if you have to stay in the area and don't want to spend a fortune, The rooms are dated but spacious and comfortable, The couple that take care of this place are friendly and do a great job. It's sad that the restaurant is no longer open but it's what to expect in this day and age. Don't expect the Marriot, but it's a great place to stay and feel safe, great location.

No darkening curtains. At check-in no one told me what the Wi-Fi code was It was on a little paper under the remote that’s hard to see. Had to call front desk but they helped.

Location, however the GPS system to me in circles before I finally found the place, this happened at night time.

The room smelled like bleach, and the sheets had bleach stains 🤢

Room was very clean

Even though this is an old motel, the room was spacious, clean, kept in good repair and bug free. The onsite restaurant, R-Place, is an OK diner but not great. A better choice for breakfast would be Tito's Egg City across busy US 27, but you are taking your life in your own hands if you try to cross US 27 on foot.

The mattress was somewhat lumpy and traffic noise was sometimes an issue at night, since the motel is only a few yards from busy US 27 and just down the street from a truck stop. I felt a more appropriate price for this hotel would have been about $60 per night, but it seems all hotels and motels have raised their prices post COVID-19 to make up for lost revenue.
