Small but a really great layout! We loved the cozy wood stove that made the entire place so cozy! Despite the small size it still fit both our families and all our kids perfectly.

It didn’t have a garage which made the entryway a bit soggy amidst the snowy weather.

I truly love this house and have stayed there five times over the years, that being said, I thought I’d point out a few things that have bothered me about the house nearly every time I’ve stayed there. Hot tub lid desperately needs a lifter, it’s so heavy as to be almost unshiftable. Lightbulbs, always burned out, everywhere. I can’t think of one time that all the lights have worked in the house, the upstairs bathroom had only one of the three lights working, we had to cannibalize light bulbs from the lamps to be able to shower safely. The lightbulbs in the ceiling fan were all burnt out. Downstairs bathroom is SO DARK, no exaggeration, seriously dark, it would be risky to shower there after dark. It needs much brighter wattage light bulbs. Dishwasher is so handy, but it’s been bone-dry of rinse aid every single time I’ve stayed there, it needs it to run and clean properly, and the dishwasher itself needs to be reconnected to the cupboard as it nearly falls over with the weight of the door itself being open…this has been going on for the last two times I’ve stayed there. Your cleaning crew is definitely not communicating with maintenance, which is patently obvious.

There needs to be privacy screening around the hot tub. The placement looks like an afterthought and you are visible from neighbors on both sides. The freight train at 5:30am and 7pm were a surprise.

The location was good. We can at off season so it was nice and quite and no crowds. The hot tub was great!

My only complaint is the shower was always cold had to get in and in under 5 minutes!

The property is clean and is close enough to the Sunriver village.

Benches at the dining table are very dangerous. They are unstable and heavy. One of them fell on my daughter’s foot. We rushed to an urgent care and the X-ray showed that her big toe was broken and the fracture went through her growth plate. She will be on crutches for the next 6-8 weeks and requires close monitoring by orthopedics. We came here for snowboarding. We had to cancel lessons, lift tickets, and equipment rental with no refund for the rest of our stay. Other amenities are nice (hot tub, washer, dryer, kitchen). But a little better stocks on some essentials would have been nice. There was a coffee maker but no coffee or tea. There are spices but no cooking oil.

Bed not especially comfortable. Train noise woke us up several times each night.

Sharc passes were awesome. We enjoyed the hot tub at sharc along with the pool. Wonderful addition to our vacation. Beds were very comfortable and everything was very clean. We were a bit concerned about the nearness of the train, but it was never loud and we never heard it at night. It added some adventure.

The hot tub on the property rented would have been better just not being there. The top did not seem to fit and it was difficult to remove. There was no way to easily or perhaps even safely to enter and leave. We tried it once, but then found the fabulous one at the Sharc facility.
