Breakfast was good but start serving at 6am would be better than 6:30

price was good and room was basic but clean. bed was comfortable. shower had great pressure and breakfast was good.
there were some updates that could have improved rating - bathroom door was broken, hallway smelled musty.

Pool
Stayed one night, the toilet in the room didn’t even work, had to go to the Shell station across the street to use the restroom. The gentleman that checked me in was really nice. However, with that being said, two days later they charged my card an additional $150 because the cleaning staff said our room smelled like smoke. I don’t even smoke. I called the corporate office to get a refund because conveniently the manager wasn’t in until the following Tuesday, just to be told, “I cannot process the refund because we cannot prove you didn’t smoke in the room.” So I asked, “How can you charge me the $150 when you cannot prove I did?” I have read other reviews stating similar incidents and the rooms smelling of other various smells. So renter beware that apparently just because one person says your room smelled like smoke, they can charge you $150 even if you don’t smoke.

The TV wasn’t the best but we didn’t really mind. We couldn’t find the auto-off timer.
The waffle maker temp needs to be turned up, or the length of cooking time needs to be extended. We were advised “the guy” had been there the previous day (I think she said), and extended the cooking time. I do t know about such devices…. Is it possible it wasn’t warmed up yet by the time we came for breakfast?

Typical.
Reported very loose toilet seat to front desk. Tried to tighten it myself but the screws were stripped. Front desk said they would take care of it. They did not.

Breakfast was served on time and was plentiful.
Wifi was not usable. Notified front desk, but also am fairly certain it has been this way for quite some time. Shame

Our rooms (we booked two) were extremely clean! Literally spotless. The hotel was renovated recently and in great condition. The staff were friendly and helpful. She remembered my name when I checked out the next day, which was a pleasant surprise. Very convenient location and great price!
The hallways had a slightly musty smell likely from the indoor pool. It was not overbearing or negative, just mildly noticeable. The common areas and our rooms were extremely clean, among the cleanest we’ve seen, and we travel frequently, so that’s the most important thing.

The room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was typical but quite good. The staff were friendly. The room overlooked the parking lot and we could see our vehicle from the window. I like that.
There are no USB ports for charging devices. The Internet connection was poor, and turned off at 9:00 pm. The TV went off too, right in the middle of a movie. Lights out early.

It was a clean room, smelled fresh. Quiet at night and comfortable bed.
Sausage at breakfast was not hot. and juice machine was broke.
