Beautiful surroundings
Need to update their rooms. Beds were horrible and the bathtub in this room had a deep dip in it and water stood in it. Bathtub was very slick also. A small refrigerator and a microwave would be good additions.

everything was clean, and classic lodge style accommodation. Michael, the manager, was BEYOND WONDERFUL! there was a mixup on Booking.com’s end and they didn’t even have our reservation and he made room for us, even very late at night. he was courteous and kind and absolutely manager material and fabulous. just can’t say enough great things about him.
Anna, the front desk receptionist we dealt with, was phenomenal, too. every staff member we encountered was top tier level. we’d come back just to interact with them.

We bought the Friday Seafood Buffet. The food was terrible. Very little actual seafood and way overpriced for what was offered.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin. It was infested with ants. My husband saw a roach in the bedroom and there was only One TV located in the living room. No TV in bedrooms! Living room furniture was very uncomfortable.

Upon arrival cottage smelled extremely clean, well stocked and check in and out quickly. Very accommodating. My guest loved it as well.

Everything was perfect and I don’t say that often, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The meals were nicely prepared and reasonably priced.
The only thing about this stay that could be better is the Saturday night restaurant hours. They close at 7:00 and by the time we got off the lake for the day it was closed

The tvs in the bedrooms didn't work there just there for looks and I like to watch TV to go to sleep. The floor behind the beds ans under furniture was nasty and the window seals. Not enough toiletries. The restaurant people acted like they had never seen black people and I didn't like that at all. The staff at the front was great! If the place was clean to my liking I would've been even happier with my stay but over all it was a good trip

+ All the staff we interacted with was very pleasant, welcoming and helpful.
+ Very well maintained general aviation airport (2I3) at walking distance.
+ Location - lake scenery. Should be beautiful with fall colors.
+ Hiking trails.
+ Mini golf, pool, tennis court.
- Lack of mini fridge. There was a cabinet with a dedicated space for a mini fridge to go in there, but it was empty.
- We only had one lunch and one breakfast at the restaurant - not enough data points for reliable feedback, but the meals we had were just OK. Breakfast was the better one.

The staff was great they even had a lil wedding gift for me & hubby when we arrived.. very clean plan to go back soon

The cottage was perfect. I would definitely stay again. The pool was great, my family really enjoyed.

The lodge is probably the best place to eat within 30 miles. The resort was beautiful. The cabins were so big and nice.

The lodge is great, however most people want to come stay on a lake to actually see the lake. The docks and the lake are beautiful but from most rooms you cant see the lake or the docks/marina due to the tree growth.

There are such gorgeous views at the lodge and all around the lake. The roo.s are cozy and comfortable. The staff exceeded our expectations as usual. The food is really good. Allaround wonderful stay! Used to live in the area and ha e stayed here before and every single time, this place went beyond expectations. Very consistent...
There was no working ice machine in our building so we had to walk to go get it in another building g. There was also no vending machines to get drinks from other grou ds and when I did find one, it was empty. There were small wasp nests forming on the rafters the balcony, so a wasp got into our room. We weren't stung but I was worried about my allergy to them. I let the staff know so Im sure they sprayed
