Location was beautiful and the cabin was spacious.

Cabin in severe disrepair. Front entry stairs broke while my pregnant wife was walking on them. My toddler son later fell down the stairs while we were waiting for repairs (that never came) and my wife rolled her ankle. Loose tile on the main floor inside also caused my two-year old son to fall down the carpeted stairs. Dishwasher door is broken and slams downward when opened, causing me to crush my foot twice. Back porch and front porch handrails are loose, sagging forward when leaned on, causing us not to allow our children outside on the porches. Broken patio furniture upstairs and downstairs, creating an unsafe space. Also a heap of decorative Native American dolls were strangely piled on the back porch and covered by a blanket, some of which were broken (ceramic shards). This booking is managed by Vacasa. While they were initially responsive when I reached out with my concerns, no one ever came to fix the broken front stairs, nor was I ever followed up with when I stated that my son fell (bruised his chin) and my wife rolled her ankle. I am still waiting on resolution for a refund or something. I reached out again after 3 days of not hearing anything from Vacasa. They told me that it was noted that we were advised to use the back (downstairs door) to exit the property [we weren't communicated that] while the front steps were broken, but there's also a sign on the downstairs back doors not to use them because THOSE steps are also broken. Not sure if this is the responsibility of the homeowner or the property management company, but it was a dangerous situation that quite frankly ruined our experience in the mountains.
