Cooked, walked down Grand view rd. Mist rolled in. Saw the local family of kangaroos. Eat slept talked. Walked back to station. No car needed. Pick up supplies at blackheath on way to though.

Beautiful house perfect for a relaxing holiday.

Very good accomodation and being pet friendly was great. We only stayed overnight so suited us well. If you’re looking for a longer stay be aware no tv etc and you’ll need to drive to the main attractions etc which isn’t a major issue. Nice and spacious and quiet

Humble, quiet getaway with everything needed for a quick getaway from Sydney. Short few minute drive to local shops and restaurants if needed. The purpose of the stay was more practical due to a local event, but we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing there when we could, whilst being entertained by the overly friendly birdlife. Spacious rooms with all basic amenities at hand in a cabin-style building.

Quiet cottage down a leafy suburban street in Mt Victoria. There is a lovely wide verandah surrounded by gums to relax on. We needed somewhere to stay the night after an evening of firefly spotting at the Cathedral of Ferns on Mt Wilson - a 30 minute drive away. The fireflies appear every December and we were not disappointed! Zoe very kindly allowed us to change our dates and was very easy to communicate with.

We had a great time staying at this cosy retreat in the middle of the bush in Mount Victoria. We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the place, being a mom of 2 little kids that's what I look for when booking a property. It's very close to necessities and all major attractions. We had a great time visiting so many gorgeous places with kids. Best thing for me was to wake up to the beautiful sound of birds and fresh air! Definitely going back with family again! Zoe was a great host and we didn't have any difficulty communicating with her. I thing I would suggest is to keep a review book at the property so that guests can write a little note/review of the beautiful property !

Overall, great value for money. The property is well presented and spacious enough (there were 6 of us) and in a lovely quiet spot nestled in bushland, but easy to get to the highway and not far from Blackheath and Katoomba. Despite the bad weather, we enjoyed being “off grid” without wi-fi, playing board games by the fireplace. We slept well, as the beds are comfortable and the property was easy to heat. A great find!

Our recent stay was an absolute gem. The place was wonderfully cozy, and it had every amenity we could ask for, making our stay very comfortable. Our favorite place was the veranda, perfect to enjoy the sound of birds and the warm sunshine. Even though we couldn't take advantage of the fire due to the hot weather, we can't wait to come back during the winter season. Also our friends' dogs absolutely loved the surroundings, making it a fantastic pet-friendly spot .We couldn't have asked for a more peaceful and enjoyable stay. Thanks Zoe

Very comfortable house, great verandah for birdwatching and close to fabulous and iconic Blue Mtns hikes, as well as Katoomba and other towns.

A wonderful place! All amenities, and features to make it a comfortable stay! Just a couple of extra blankets for those sleeping alone would be good!!!

Loved the beautiful surroundings. Great comfortable house. Like the fact there is no TV, we had so much fun playing board games. Fire was also very nice.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fairy Dell. The beds were comfortable, bathroom facilities were great and we really enjoyed a morning cuppa and toast out on the balcony in the sunshine. We were keen to give the fire a go but regrettably arrived back too late at night to try it, so will have to give that a go next time. The place was clean, comfortable and just a really lovely place to stay.
