Not fancy. But nice. Sympa hosts, high ceiling old rooms, quiet, cool, comfortable.

Nothing. Shower a bit cronky, but who cares?

This is a modest hotel and the room price reflects this. It is slightly off centre and we were able to park our car close by without difficulty. The train station is close by.

The small shower room and cabin were lined with with plastic and were somewhat dated. The shower floor was very slippery.

Great family hotel near the station and 10 minutes walk to centre. Very clean and comfortable with a pleasant outdoor area. We appreciated the attention to bedbug prevention after the Chemin de Stevenson (not that we met any en route 🙂). But most of all we loved the great welcome from François and Nataly, always in good spirits and helpful. François spent a lot of time to help us solve our train problem due to a strike and gave us lots of advice on Ales and the area. No English spoken but he graciously answered my poor attempts at Spanish as I don't speak French. We would definitely recommend.

The location was superb - almost opposite the station. We were greeted by very friendly staff, both in the evening and next morning, and were given all the information we needed for a short visit to the town. We only stayed one night en route to somewhere else, but I would happily have stayed longer.

The bathroom was very small and basic - not much space to put things etc - fine for us for one night but would probably be a bit annoying if we were staying for longer.

Very friendly and helpful owner. Made the stay a pleasure. Very central location. Large comfortable room. Quiet.
