Staff is most welcoming and helpful Stay is quiet just near the sea. We could get up early and enjoy fresh air on the beach when only few joggers are awake... The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast is simple and good Pricewise is is very much worthy. Parking is just nearby. I recommend STRONGLY and will go back there if I have the opportunity.

Very friendly helpful and pleasant staff. Clean comfortable rooms. Very close to beach and restaurants. Lovely pool area. Dedicated parking area. A number of guests had their pets with them. Unpretentious down to earth hotel.

Good location close to beach secure parking

The apartment was not as advertised. The double bed was on a mezzanine with a very steep and narrow stair case/ladder. the head clearance was ridiculous. This space was only suitable for small children and not for adults. It would not pass any sensible health and safety standards. Having booked an apartment suitable for 4 we had to sleep on an uncomfortable sofa bed.

Nice clean room.... although no pillow protectors where used. Shower was excellent. Nice quiet room.

Some updating is needed, especially for the price. Our shower was faulty, and there was black mould: it really should be replaced. Breakfast is ok but quite pricey!

Clean rooms, air conditioning that was exceptional and this was needed as the temperatures exceeded 33C. A relaxed, happy feeling to the hotel and the village. Car parking was secure and a good place to leave our bikes. Beach was 50 yards away - amazing.

We loved the hotel, love coming to the Hotel again. I travelled on a personal trip and I felt like coming to my home after warm and friendly welcome of the staffs. They upgraded our room for no extra cost. Room was very comfortable, spacious, and equipped with all necessary items needed to comfortably stay and cook. They gave us nice tips and guidance on exploring the city. I highly recommend this place to everyone and personally, I wouldn’t book anywhere else for my future trips to Île de Ré.

Excellent location for my purposes

I would have liked a table in my room as I am a writer and like to read and write at a table.

Could not switch the heating on. Breakfast a bit expensive.

The location. Easy access to lovely beach. Proximity to lovely village center and good supermarket. Friendly staff. Bed comfi. Shower very good.Well equipped kitchen.

Without a doubt it was one of the highlights of our month long stay in France. The staff were more than friendly on our arrival, gave advice on the local attractions, as well as places to eat. There is a fabulous safe beach only minutes (three at most) from the hotel. St. Martin de Ré only 9 minutes drive and the spectacular lighthouse only 15 minutes drive. I would recommend (if you are so inclined) that you hire bikes (Hotel guests get a discount) and explore this part of Ile de Ré, no hills or rough terrain, I promise. This was our second stay on Ile de Ré, we were disappointed with the accommodation and location two years ago BUT said we would give the Island a second chance. We were so impressed this year, in large part by the staff, that next year we will stay for an extended period of time (only two night this year).

We had only two (very small) criticisms. It would have been great to have at least one easy chair in the room (where you could sit by the window and read) and the addition of a small table for the tea/coffee making facilities.
