Location was very god - with fine clean rooms

The breakfast was a sad experience - no coffe and absolutely no love invested into that arrangement. We should have taken a good expresso in the street cafe

Beautiful hotel in the center of Porto with many attractions in walking distance and surrounded by cozy restaurants. Nice breakfast included and comfy room with a beautiful view. Perfect for a long weekend getaway.

There could have been an elevator. Also, the walls might be a bit thin as we heard some suitcase shifting on the ground from one of our neighbouring rooms. But for the price we paid, we would come back anytime.

Excellent location, could easily walk everywhere. Staff were a bit shy but helpful when approached. We really shouldn't assume everyone is at ease speaking English. Everything very clean. Bathroom has wow factor. We had a cute little balcony overlooking the many cafés nearby. These cafes were noisy till very late at night but the windows blocked out a lot of this when closed.

Very spacious bathroom, and fancy shower but the glass screen was too narrow and the bathroom floor got wet and slippery. Despite having the lovely balcony doors that opened up, the room stayed very stuffy due to no air flow. We often had to step out onto the balcony for air and would be surprised at how cool it actually was outside.

Room in process of upgrading and although mostly complete still had work to finish. Dishwasher did not work and despite informing reception this was not rectified by our departure.

Location

The room initially assigned smelled of raw sewage. The smell was so strong and bad and one could not, literally, remain in the room for more than a few minutes. When I asked to be given a different room, the check-in clerk, after confirming the foul smell in the room, disappeared and told me to wait. I waited and waited and waited. When I finally came downstairs to find out why it was taking him so long, he was busy playing with his cell phone. I took advantage of a lull in the conversation to warn in French two young French tourists that they should check the room assigned to them for the same problem. I came to find out the next day at breakfast that this clerk tried to give them the room I had refused. Breakfast was very poor and simple. Not much of a choice. Important also to note that when I first arrived at the hotel, I was told that the system was down, and I could not check in. The hotel has no elevator. Good luck carrying a heavy bad three floors... I must conclude by saying that the hotel leaves a lot to be desired and needs to train its staff on good public relations.

The street view of the room is very good. The location is in the city center, very convenient. What I like most: there is a super delicious pastry shop downstairs next to the hotel with various flavors of tarts.

The staff can't speak English, only Portuguese, it took us a long time to check in. There are few varieties of breakfast.

Apartment was very central and everything could be reached by foot. Nice pastelarias and restaurants in the area, central station and Rede Expresso in a reachable distance without hassle. Apartment was nice and had an amazing shower.

WiFi coverage was not as good as advertised. Supposedly in the whole premises but in the apartment itself the coverage was not complete. Only in certain spots it available.

Comfy beds and plush pillows, nice size bathroom.

Trash needs a trash bag. Walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors if they’re having a good time before bed…

Great location, close to lello and clerigos and many other attractions and restaurants, and near bus stops (easy access to and from airport or train station). Comfortable beds, very spacious and bright studio apartment.

The safe didn’t work. Also you have to ask the reception beforehand to change the towels or clean the apartment during the stay. The staff however did meet all our requests when asked and brought whatever we needed.

Location was excellent and breakfast a good continental.

Steep stairs to the room for the unwary. Entrance to the accommodation was tricky to find.
