I’ve always liked the Monte Pio. I love the feel of the place. I’ll always come back

The only thing that was a little disappointing & it’s probably nobody’s fault. We couldn’t get all the channels on the TV. & it was only annoying because the channels I couldn’t get were the ones I wanted to watch but we were out most of the time so it wasn’t a biggie.

The spa bath and parking

My partner and I left a day early, that’s how unpleasant our stay was. Firstly the rooms need MAJOR upgrading! When entering the room it smelt so bad, the carpets are old and filthy, we had water leaking in our room, ants crawling everywhere, mould all over the curtains, the leather bed frame old and worn and chipping away onto the bed. We went to plug our charger in behind the bed and it was absolutely disgusting which is why we left a day early from our holiday as we didn’t want to stay in the room any longer. Water leaks throughout the building being collected in boxes, the old smelling stench throughout the building is overwhelming. Would not recommend to stay especially due to the excessive mould in the rooms extremely unsafe especially for families with young children or older individuals.

How old it was. The manager is rude. The food is terrible. How did this place get to be called a mecure???

Very clean, spacious room, comfortable bed. I liked the fact there were extra blankets as well as a doona for the bed so you could adjust for hot or cold sleepers. Easy on-site parking and friendly staff, very good value for money.

Room was a little 'tired'. Sheer curtains in the room were torn, there were other curtains that were fine but it's a sign that the room was a little run down. Other minor issues like the power button on the TV remote didn't work (had to turn the TV on by the switch at the back) and the heating in the reverse cycle airconditioning couldn't be reduced below 24 degrees. There is also a bit of noise transference from other rooms.

Beautiful old building with modern upgrades. Our room allowed us to view the lovely sunset. Dining room filled with memorabilia from its original use as a nunnery.

Minor complaints... No glasses for drinking water although there were wine glasses. Shower was lukewarm.

Place was clean and staff were lovely

No hot water at all was so cold i just had to go without and same with the kids

The staff were excellent .. extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and bed warm .. lovely veiw from our room .I would stay there again in a heart beat 💓

There was nothing not to like .. was quiet far enough away but close enough .. public transport at the door ..no complaints about this place.
