I love this charming apartment. Regina and her daughter Isa are the perfect hosts, and the apartment has everything I needed for a 4 week stay, the second time I have stayed here. It is so close to everything and very comfortable. Thank you Regina!

A lovely little house with all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay for 2 people. Regina owns the property - it used to be the family home and her love for the property shows. Not ideal for those who struggle with steps but we would be happy to return again.

I enjoy my stay in that 3 stairs portuguese appartment in the center of Tavira! Regina and her daughter were really nice and respond to all my questions before and while I arrive there. I enjoy the balcony for the coffee in the morning, and the wine at night. Really good local restaurant in the same street, and a sport bar just down the appartment. I enjoy the ambiance of that bar, with the good music, but for some people it could be not as quiet. You have to joint those local people! Don’t worry, it’s stop at 22h.

Relaxing stay in this spacious, colourful house with a fabulous roof terrace. Regina was a perfect host.

The Frog House is very unique. A lovely setting of the house with a rooftop and the decorations has a very nice touch. Clean, well located, safe area and convenient to a lot of places. The only disadvantage are lot’s of stairs and not convenient if you have mobility problems, otherwise, you will fall in love with this place.

The proeprty is exactly as desribed and just what we were looking for. It's a charming house in a great location and it had everything we needed. We would definitely go back.

The house is very well furnished, with particular care for design decorations, all very inspired. Very beautiful the terrace with view over the quarter roofs. The house equipment is complete. The only shortcoming is the absence of air conditioning, which - in hot weather cases, like we experienced in July 2023 - may turn out to be unpleasant. Air fans (provided) partially make up for this...

Regina's place was perfect for my 2-month stay. I have already booked again for next October. Regina is a wonderful host -- I really felt so well taken care of & communication with her and her daughter was excellent. I love to stay in places that fit the culture, so the unique characteristics of this home appealed to me. I didn't want to stay in a cookie cutter place -- I wanted a traditional Portuguese home where I could absorb the culture and community. Regina's place has so much going for it if you feel the same way. Yes, there are steep stairs, as others have mentioned. You won't want to be running up and down without paying attention. Maybe you'll want to avoid a place like this if you have trouble with stairs, but for me, the different levels just added to the charm. Check the photos, they are very accurate about the levels & details of this place. The home is very clean & comfortable & well appointed. A new sofa in the living room converts to a bed so I was able to have an overnight guest. The bedroom is large & the bed is firm. Plenty of closet space. The kitchen has several different coffee makers, a hand blender, & the usual stuff you need to feel at home. I especially loved the funky bathroom & private rooftop terrace. The location is perfect. You are in a traditional neighborhood with a grocery store very near, and just 2 minutes to the Roman bridge & great restaurants. The street noise didn't happen often or very late and wasn't a bother to me.

If you like quirky, this is the place for you. Not obvious from the photos, are the multi levels. There are two flights of difficult stairs from the kitchen to the roof top patio, which is delightful, and where you will prefer to dine. The logistics are a challenge, but we managed, using a large container with a lid to carry the food up. Another anomaly, again not obvious from the photos, the entrance is not at the front, but at the rear, which means you have to pull your suitcases along a cobble stone lane at the side, and rear, of the unit. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, after we had adapted, but would have preferred to have known in advance.

Perfectly located in the centre of Tavira and close to a supermarket. The property had everything we needed and we loved the roof terrace. Would fully recommend. Thank you Regina.

Property is an old and quirky town house, decorated in a beautiful and original style. I would not recommend for young children as there are lots of steep steps. It also has a delightful roof garden. Regina is a very helpful and gracious hostess. We did have some problems with electrical faults which were inconvenient, but Regina did resolve these as quickly as she could.

Regina's place is a gem. The pictures are very accurate - although we felt that the apartment is even more spacious than it appears in the photos. Regina is a wonderful host - giving a warm welcome and lots of useful information about the area. As many reviews mention, the rooftop terrace is a delightful bonus. We stayed in November and it was warm enough to sit out at night and to enjoy coffee up there in the morning. The apartment is well appointed. The bed is best suited to those who like a firm mattress. Nice hot water and good pressure in the shower. Very quiet space, except as noted in other reviews, the bedroom is right above a restaurant bar - this didn't bother us at all but if you need complete quiet to sleep, it is best to know that. Many visits to Tavira, first time to this wonderful house. Fantastic position for the town and the beach.Previous reviews mentioned it to be a bit noisy by the road and nearby bar but we had absolutely no issues with any noise. Regina is a wonderful host. Will definitely be staying there again.

We LOVED our stay here and only wish we could have stayed longer! The host was wonderful and met us when we checked-in to give us a tour and a run down. The apartment itself is lovely - the highlight is the incredible rooftop! Such a perfect location to explore Tavira. We fell in love with this place and hope to visit again in the future!

This property was perfectly situated for exploring Tavira and surrounding area. Charming property for two people, with the added bonus of a beautiful roof terrace. Couldn’t fault it. Excellent, we shall definitely return in the future.

Regina and her daughter gave us a warm welcome and some information about the city. We loved the appartement, it was very clean and had about everything we needed. We were in love with the terrace it was perfect for a apero 😍 We would love to come back one day.

Overall a great stay at Regina’s characterful property located in the centre of the old town. Great for accessing local restaurants and bars which provided very good value for money. The real ‘find’ was cafe / restaurant located about 100 metres up the hill from the property in the middle of the small park. Great food and hospitality at incredibly low prices.

Very clean, comfortable property. Very close to the Roman Bridge and lots of restaurants, in fact there is a very nice one next door. There is a bar next door but we didn't notice any excessive noise from it. The kitchen was very well equipped and the local supermarket is less than 5 mins. walk away. Regina was a very nice host who made us very welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Das Haus hat eine perfekte Lage zum Altstadtkern und ist individuell und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Hauszugang ist leider nur über einen Hinterhof erreichbar. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Perfect for a 14 day stay in Tavira,clean, lovely Bedroom and super handy roof terrace, The cottage has everything you will need for your stay within walking distance to shopping mall and supermarket, Town square with numerous casual restaurants is a 5 minute walk away,Regina and her daughter Liza were perfect and welcomed a really late tired couple who had gotten lost as we had landed after dark. Genoten van dit huis, en deze locatie. Zeer centraal gelegen, en een heerlijk dakterras om van zon en (genoeg) schaduw te genieten. Alles voldoende aanwezig. Wij waren er in febr. , er was een kachel om 's avond iets bij te verwarmen, wat heel fijn was.

If you prefer standard hotel rooms, similar to all the others, in this case this house is not for you. Otherwise, if you like a house with character, with an original decoration along three floors, including a charming balcony well integrated in the typical neighbourhood roofs, in this case this house is a very good option. Absolutely clean, which is an important quality in these Covid times. Very friendly contact with the owners. We hope to get back.

This property is in a superb central location with restaurants, bars, shops and all the sights of Tavira just a few minutes walk away and lots of free on street parking. The house had everything we needed and Regina was so kind in meeting with us early due to our morning flight. The roof terrace was fabulous. There wasn't air con and there was some talking from the bar nearby at night, but both were not a problem. The stairs would make it not accessible for the less physically able. Would highly recommend this property, had a lovely relaxing time

This is a lovely property and has everything you need for a lovely stay in Tavira. You cannot open the bedroom french windows but the fan which was provided helped to create some fresh air in the bedroom. The roof terrace was a great asset! We had a very enjoyable stay.
