I love the traditional feel, the proprietors were lovely and we were made to feel welcome from the whole town. It really was a lovely place to stay.

I had a wonderful stay at The McCloud Hotel. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was simple and clean. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was great!

When I showed up there was a very friendly gentleman who was a manager or owner. He was visiting with a couple who was staying there. He let me know my key was at the front desk but he gave me no direction on where my room was. I just started wandering around and I found my room. The gentleman was very friendly and cheerful. I wish he would have just asked me if I needed any further help.

The ambience of this 100+ year old hotel was wonderful. The room was large, the bed very comfortable and the amenities great.

No elevator.

Like the old real wood interior and enjoyed the garden breakfast with friends! Complimentary wine is also appreciated!

No staff in counter.

Location was amazing with Mt Shasta as a backdrop. Great coffee from Starbucks. Good water pressure and shower is always a plus!

The hot water at sink wasn't working but shower was good.
