We absolutely loved this house. We have stayed at many VRBO in the past and this far surpasses any. From the fresh warm brownies when we walked in the front door , to special requests for picnic in the park chairs and a table lamp..things just magically appeared. Awesome hosts with the most! The furniture was luxurious, the back patio and gardens amazing. We did the Yellowstone hot spring on our hosts suggestion, best morning ever. Hot springs surrounded by mountains. Elk visiting us, momma deer and her twins in our yard and we could walk to town for dinner. If I could give this home 6 stars I would. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This beautiful, clean and comfortable home-away-from-home served as a relaxing base for our daily treks exploring Yellowstone. Jolynn & Pat sincerely want their guests to have the best vacation experience possible. I'd highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the area.

Beyond a doubt this is best overall experience we have had with rental properties in the last twenty years. The location was perfect for the park and fly fishing. We saw more elk and mule deer in our yard then in the park. The owners were great to work with. A perfect property that was stocked with everything we needed. There was a grocery store close to the house if you forgot anything. Will book this house again the next time we are in Yellowstone.

JoLynn was a fabulous host with a fabulous home, Everything you could imagine was provided for our stay. Close to town so we got to do our walks and so close to Yellowstone park. We will definitely book this home again if we go back there. It was like home away from home and clean, comfortable and all around perfect. This property was very unique among everything else in the town. It had everything we were looking for and then some. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating.

This was by far the best vacation rental we have ever stayed in. JoLynn provides extra touches that make you feel like family. From the handwritten welcome note to the fresh baked brownies! Communication was excellent. House was exactly as the listing states. If we ever find ourselves in Gardiner again, we will definitely stay here again!

This was the cleanest house we have ever rented and we walked in to a tray of brownies left by owner which made the house smell great. Perfect location for Yellowstone and elk in front yard.

The house had everything you could need. We were greeted with a pan of brownies fresh from the oven. The back deck we loved spending time on and the yard was beautiful. Overall a great place to stay.

All praises for the Yellow Cottage and the hosts are true and accurate. There are absolutely no negative comments from us. We had the unique and historic experience of being in Gardiner when Yellowstone River flooded, and washed out roads in and out of Gardiner. We were scheduled to leave so being isolated brought some anxious thoughts. Thanks to JoLynn for constant communication and information about the situation. At all times we felt safe, and we were so comfortable in the house. Our hopes and prayers are that others can experience this ideal location in the future.

We loved the house! perfect for 2 couples vacationing together. It was super close to Yellowstone, we walked to the grocery store and several restaurants. We will book again if we ever com back.

Excellent, warm and inviting host who left delicious brownies at checkin. The brownies were much needed after a long travel =). The cottage is very clean and the kitchen is well stocked. We saw elks in the back during our stay. The back patio has grill and patio furnitures excellent for a relaxing break, though we did not get to use (spent much of our time at the park). Excellent location when visiting Yellowstone and groceries and restaurants are within walking distance. Definitely will come back when we visit Yellowstone again.

We will book to stay here again the next time we visit Yellowstone. The home was super clean and has everything you will need for your stay. We enjoyed walking down the street to see the river in the evenings and to enjoy the sunsets. JoLynn and Patrick were great communicators and hosts.

We loved staying in the yellow house while visiting Yellowstone. The house was super comfortable and really well stocked with anything you could need from kitchen stuff to bear spray to a cooler. It was also well organized so everything was easy to find. We loved arriving to brownies too! The absolute highlight for us was sitting in the backyard in the morning and getting visits from the elk in the area. The drive to Yellowstone was super quick and made it easier to come "home" from the park during the busy part of the day. We would stay here again anytime we came back to Yellowstone!

My husband and I had to reschedule our trip due to an illness in the family. JoLynn was so accommodating and caring, I felt like I knew her personally. The place was spotless, we were greeted with some treats and we were very pleased and plan on coming back. One day coming back from Yellowstone park we had 3 huge Elk just sitting in the yard and saw them daily and also mule deer. I can't say enough how we really enjoyed our trip and we will be back! Our family of 5 had a terrific stay at the Yellow Cottage. It was the perfect oasis after long days hiking, driving and enjoying YNP. We got to see Elk and Mule Deer right from the back yard. The grocery store is only a block away. Highly recommend this property.

The house is beautiful and very homey. Everything we needed was available to us. The backyard is amazing, with great views and a bonus of seeing wildlife. This is a must for a vacation home, we didn't want to leave.

The property was very nicely furnished and extremely clean. There was a pan of brownies and snack waiting to greet us when we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked, even with spices. The owner is very nice and when I had a question with the grill she came over to help within a few minutes. We had wildlife in the front yard or would see them walking down the street most days. The Mountain View from the back patio is beautiful but was obstructed some on one side. Overall I would stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

The cottage was cozy and very clean. The homemade brownies and notes of welcome were a great touch. Our family loved the backyard, especially the chance to pick raspberries! The cottage was perfect for our family and we enjoyed making our own meals, grilling and walking just up the block for groceries. The laundry was so nice too! Always nice to avoid the huge laundry pile when you return home. The hosts were very friendly and had great advice about the park. We loved it!

From the smell of the freshly baked brownies waiting for us upon arrival to the elk running down the street, this was one of our best VRBO stays ever. The house was clean as a whistle and very well furnished. JoLynn made sure to check on us regularly to make sure we had what we needed...she even left work to come help us with a satellite TV issue. We highly recommend!!

Well maintained and clean as a pin. Everything we needed was right where you would expect it to be. A welcome home note and brownies still warm from the oven were waiting on the dining room table when we arrived. Jo Lynn and Pat gave us excellent advice on sights to see. They suggested beautiful motorcycle routes, restaurants and photo ops. We saw Eagle, Osprey and grizzy bear that we would not have otherwise seen. The back patio became our morning coffee routine. Warm fleecy blankets were on the beds for us to wrap up in when we were out there on the chilly mornings. We quickly adjusted to the western attitude of AC in the hot afternoon, but open windows in the evening for the fresh mountain air. Pantry was well stocked with all the staples you could imagine. Don't go grocery shopping until you've confirmed what you really need. Jo Lynn replied to texts very quickly, and loaned us aluminum foil for grilling, even though they were headed to soccer practice! When I asked about a crock pot, she brought one right over. Comfortable beds, furniture very comfy. Bathrooms were modern and immaculately clean. We felt very welcome and right at home. We would highly recommend the Yellow House in Gardiner.

The location was great for our daily trips to Yellowstone. The house was awesome. It had everything thing we needed. It was clean and comfortable. If we ever head out this way again we will definitely stay here.

This property was amazing for our family of four. Even though it is approximately 40- 50 miles to Old Faithful, if you are good at planning...this is your place! And Gardiner has tons of great restaurants and water rafting. This place is well stocked with spices, coffee, etc. And, you are a couple minutes away from the market if you need anything. We cooked out for dinner and had breakfast at the house every day. We would definitely come back if we make another trip to Yellowstone.

We (Mom and Dad, Wife and I) stayed here at the yellow cottage for 5 nights. It is very nice clean 2 bedroom home.easy access, comfortable furniture and beds. Just outside the Gardiner " brick archway" entrance so easy access to Roosevelt lodge / cookout about an hour to the canyon (not including bison Jam delays) The home is tucked in the town 2 blocks to Market for food /supplies wildlife---elk slept in the front yard one night. another night doe and two fawns were laying by the front door within 15' We talked with host family , they are very helpful and friendly people. All four of us felt very comfortable and welcomed in this home We are very thankful the opportunity to stay ...We will be back in a year or two

We are only rating the Yellow Cottage 5 stars because we can't give it 6 stars. The cottage is a warm, well-kept, fully-equipped, immaculately-clean home and JoLynn was a wonderful host. We could not have asked for more. As a bonus, deer, elk and rabbits appeared most mornings and evenings to greet us. Gardiner is a charming little town with restaurants (try Corral up the street for burgers and Wonderland for morning coffee) and a grocery within walking distance of the house. You could not be any closer to Yellowstone National Park -less than a 5 minute drive gets you there.

This was my first time renting on VRBO, and what an amazing house! Perfect size and so much room to accomadate my family of four, plus my mom and dad. Cleanliness is important to me, and this house exceeded my expectations! The location is also great because the entrance to the park is so close, probably about a 5 minute drive away. As you walk up the street you’re already in the town area. The owner lives just across the street, so if you ever need anything she’s readily available. JoLynn is also very quick to respond to your questions. She was so sweet she even gave my mom a balloon and a bottle of wine for her birthday. I highly recommend staying here!
