My friends and I had an amazing time staying at this beautiful and warm cabin house located very close to Northstar. One of my friends said, “oh my word, it’s literally on Northstar lands”. There is a free shuttle from the cabin to Northstar ski resort and we found it super convenient. We enjoyed hanging out and playing board games at the newly updated living and dining rooms. Our host, Spencer, was absolutely fantastic. He was friendly and approachable. He kept us updated on weather conditions and addressed our questions and concerns quickly. One of my friends left something valuable at the cabin and we contacted Spencer. He found the item and shipped it to my friend promptly. We had a wonderful experience throughout our stay and beyond.

The only thing I can complain it’s the pillow cases they was dirty one of them has a point of blood.

The house easily fit 4 families . Great location .

Good location within Northstar. House is older but you can tell from the pictures on line. Worked well for a group setting or family event. The HOA pool facilities are great

A delightful home away from home. There were plenty of towels and paper products, and we particularly appreciated the beach umbrellas and chairs. The Northstar shuttle is always a help so avoid driving. Plenty of room for eight of us, including four kids. The kitchen was well stocked and included all the utensils we needed for family breakfasts. Probably too many stairs for anyone who has difficulty with stairs.

We had a nice stay but this place is very costly for what it is. The location is excellent. The house has been well loved but is in desperate need for new flooring and bathrooms and kitchen appliances. The beds are super hard and it was not fun sleeping. However, if you are not picky about these things you will have a nice time.

The cabin was perfect for our large family.

The beds were very comfortable, the living space was great for conversations, the kitchen had plenty of room for dining and open floor plan was perfect for our family reunion.

If we didn’t have experience in the family, of cleaning homes for homeaway and other listing vacation homes maybe we wouldn’t know any better. -cabin IS very big and roomy —‘can’ be a real pretty showcase —- we had to vacuum when we arrived. — a few spiders in corners in the downstairs bedrooms —-So many things in pantry were old, way beyond expired. — I believe for what we paid it should have been a little nicer.

This was my second time staying here. The house is nice. It's had some nice upgrades since last year. The location is also great, with shuttle access to the mountain. The property managers were very responsive and helpful answering our questions. Will definitely come back.

Home is warm and welcoming!

The house was really nice and close to the golf course.

My family have been coming to Tahoe for years and have stayed in multiple cabins across the area. This one ranks as one of the best locations. A variety of close hiking trails and access to Kings Beach and Truckee were very convenient. The cabin has a nice layout. Bedrooms provide privacy, great room/kitchen area leads to front and back decks (great view out the back deck) which provide shade at anytime during the day. The cabin sits on a quiet street with little traffic. The only item not giving this cabin a 5 star would be the dated interior. For the price per night, most would expect newer, more comfortable mattresses, furniture, and updated kitchen. Overall 4 star.

Great house for a large group!

The house is plenty big for 3 families. It sleeps 12 which is nice and there are 2 different areas to hang out in. The kitchen is well stocked. The issue is that this house is outdated throughout. In the master bedroom, the heating system is falling apart. Seems like a safety issue. There are closet doors that are barely hanging from their hinges. The carpet throughout the house is really old and looks dirty. The bathrooms are very old. The 2-car garage is a mess and allows only 1 car to be pulled in. There are many light bulbs broken. And the house is generally filthy. There was ice in front of the door making access tricky. We are disappointed. We have stayed in many other houses in Northstar before for less money that are much nicer. This house does not look like it's prepared to be a good rental.

The property was clean and in good working order. The owner was also responsive to our requests before and after we had arrived. That said, the 70’s era appliances, bathrooms and some furniture need to be updated.

The property was really cared for and the location was even better. Having a complimentary shuttle does make a lot of difference. The owner of the property was extremely kind. He had texted to check in and also bought an instant pot that was delivered during the duration of our stay.

The rental property is amazing. The house is well maintained and stocked. The location is about a 5 minute car ride from Northstar Village. Getting to the village using the free shuttle service through the Northstar Transportation app is extremely easy. The property was clean and temperature was set to toasty on our arrival day. The instructions to get into the property was easy to follow. The owner was extremely nice and helpful. (He had even bought an instant pot and had it delivered during our stay.) The description of the rental is accurate. There was a lot of extra quits and covers to ensure no one was cold. The heater and fireplace definitely kept everyone nice and toasty. We are definitely looking forward to booking the property again! Bonus: There is an open area in the backyard that is perfect for sledding.

This was a family trip and plenty of room for all. The configuration of the beds was great. The customer service from the owners was very good, answering any questions we had in a timely manner. Enjoyed having 2 outdoor patios with beautiful views.

It's a very nice house with all the amenities you could ask for. Right near Northstar and write sizeable with lots of beds. They also had plenty of towels for the beach and things like sugar and oil that are often missing from these places. Everything worked well and it was great for hanging out! Highly recommended.

Our group of 11 had a great stay at Northstar Resort! The house was comfortable for all of us and the shuttle service was truly impressive. Every time we called it, it was a minimal wait time and very easy to get to the resort on the shuttle. The house was well stocked with cleaning materials, spices, pots and pans. The owner was extremely helpful when I had to make a change to my reservation after I had already paid in full and was very accommodating with my change. I would highly recommend this place as an affordable and nice place to stay for skiing/ snowboarding at Northstar!
