Reception was very friendly and helpful. This place was built by German people and they still run it. It has a Franco/German feel. It is an easy walk to the town and lots of restaurants.

Replacement toilet paper is only available Monday and Thursday. What do you do in between? You need to bring your own bathroom supplies.

Our second visit at Tourelles. Great location, nice pool, clean and super friendly staff. We will come back again.

The AC is not covering all rooms and is not possible to adjust (no remote control). It is fixed on one temperature/speed.

Great location and if you are staying in Ste Maxime you really don't need a car. Beautiful pool in a stunning backdrop and very secure area. The pool and poolside were cleaned and maintained daily - good sunbeds and sun shades. The apartments were bright, clean and the aircon and shutters a godsend. Overall a great place to stay.

Some little things weren't quite right but they were attended to very quickly. No allocated parking so sometimes difficult to park near the apartment

The location was brilliant and the breakfast area was very inviting with great views, Marion was a wonderful host every morning, very cheerful with a great disposition that made us feel very at ease and welcome. Danny the bar tender checked us in when we arrive in the evening, all went smoothly. Klaus? on reception was very helpful and knowledgeabl. Would definately love to visit again.

No soap to wash hands on arrival which is paramount during Covid. Mould in corner of shower cubicle. Skirting board (corner of wall at bottom) of toilet area needs attention. Looks like mould. These repairs would not take long and should be a priority. Main swimming pool too small for the amount of guests on site. One particular guest did a butterfly stroke which meant that he splashed and took up a lot of space so no one else could swim. Barman could have been more pleasant. Bar should be open all day even for soft drinks. Overall the castle maybe be a 4 star but the apartments require cosmetic repairs and should be graded as 3 star.

The outside bar area was very unappealing, cheap tables and chairs and an unfriendly barman. Very poor WIFI Extremely poor Air Conditioning. Better vermon/pest control required.

The location of the hotel was excellent. A great warm welcome from Klaus at the reception.

I was surprised that this is rated a 4 star hotel as the rooms are very basic and are not serviced. The pool was very disappointing as there are too few sun lounges and we could never get a sun lounger. The pictures make the hotel look more appealing than it was. I would not recommend this hotel for a couple, it is more like renting a flat/appartmwnt with limited facilities.

Location was good for town centre. Apartment good size. Swimming area really good

Nothing particular, international tv channels would be good for UK visitors

We booked a 4 person apartment. However when we arrived, the apartment we got was not cleaned properly. The lady at the reception kindly, without hesitation, provided us a free upgrade: a 6 person, more spacious apartment.
