Our family of five loved staying at this property. The beds and pillows were comfy, the deck and yard are perfect, the rowboat and kayaks are so super fun, and that lakeside view and access is amazing. We enjoyed the smaller lake (compared to Seneca), and easy access to popular attractions. Staying at the property and enjoying a day at the lake was perfect too. Our week there zoomed by and we loved it.

We were very happy with the property. Very quiet, great location in terms of being on a lake and close to other destinations in the area. Very friendly neighbors. The only other feedback we have to offer - the owners have a dog (apparently). Two people in my family have pet allergies, so we specifically seek out rentals that don't allow pets, and this one doesn't. However, we noticed a leash and other items related to a dog in the house and dog hair on some of the blankets / carpets. Not a lot by any means, but it did bother our allergies initially. It wasn't a bad experience by any means or a deal breaker, we just would have preferred to know this up front (unless we missed it in the listing).

Cute rustic cabin with beautiful lake views. Easy drive to Hammondsport and Watkins Glen. Great kayaking and swimming lake.

Cute and comfortable cottage. No central heating BUT the space heaters that were provided and the electric fireplace kept us warm. Chairs in back sunroom were great for reading. Quiet area but very well located for day trips to Finger Lake region. Host provided info for local restaurants which was helpful (check back of host notes on fridge your first day as we missed this info initially. Enjoyed the fire pit and starry skies at night.

The property was quaint and directly on the water. It was a pleasant spot to stay as it was centrally located between Watkins Glen, Penn Yan and Hammondsport. Cottage was nice and had a comfy feel.

beautiful property with lake in back yard. Away from all the busy, crazy of daily life. Jean is great, she even made sure that we had kayaks which made my son very happy. We hope to go back next year

Cute little cottage right on the water. Perfect for my husband and me to get away for the week. Our primary activity is always hiking so we didn’t spend a lot of time there but there was a nicely equipped kitchen, grill, fire pit, wood burning stove, canoe, rowboat and fenced in yard. Loved it! Would rent again if we come back!

This little cottage was a terrific base to explore from - a quick and pleasant drive to Keuka Lake and Seneca Lake. It is a really comfortable home to stay in and we enjoyed the beautiful lake views and quiet. Highly recommend a stay here.

This property seems unassuming. It was a great location on the lake. Wish I would have brought a fishing pole as the fish were jumping out of the water in the early am. The supplies that were left were great. There is nothing that we could have needed. Nice spot for a quiet weekend exploring the Finger Lakes.

This house was clean and right on a very nice lake - only about 20 minutes from downtown Watkins Glen for food, shopping and hiking. Plus LOTS of wineries, breweries, distilleries, etc. My husband and I enjoyed our stay.

This home had everything you might need but forget to bring. The rooms were comfortable, the beds and pillows were great, and the home was very clean. Wonderful spot for exploring Keuka Lake or just hanging out and having a campfire by the water.

The cottage was cozy and comfortable and right on the lake with a awesome view of the lake. We used the boat that was available and did some fishing.

As expected, the house is on the smaller side, but the open floor plan makes it feel more spacious. We also really enjoyed having the backyard on days it was too cold to swim. We played kubb and bocci. Kayaking/canoeing to Red Bank island was also a lot of fun. Overall, the house was perfect for what we were looking for, and so glad we found it!

This lovely Lake cottage on Lake lamoka was perfect for our family. Three bedrooms with comfortable mattresses, air conditioning in each bedroom, large shower and wonderful backyard and Patio. The kayaking/boating was wonderful. The lake does have a large amount of weeds, swimming was a bit difficult, however, there is a beachy swimming area off the island. Also suggest you go to Watkins Glen. It was amazing there! The bike / rail trail called the Catherine Valley Trail, is good. However, it needs to be marked a bit better; be sure to take your phone with GPS. Do not plan on biking from the cottage, these are not little Hills! Definitely stay here if you are looking to relax! We had a wonderful time.

We enjoyed the cottage, the views, the trips out on the lake(s) and to Red Bank Island. At the cottage we grilled and ate outside, had camp fires, enjoyed the sunrises. The neighbors were friendly. We had a really great time!!

Cottage is wonderful. Had everything we needed and more. Location is perfect , spent most of our time outside and on the lake. Renting , checkin and communications with owners is great. Spent 3 nights myself and 3 boys - 22, 18 and 11. Plenty of room inside one night when it rained - watched movies from the dvd collection. Loved our stay so much - No one wanted to leave. Will definitely be back .

We had a wonderful stay. The house was terrific and very comfortable, and my family got a lot of use out of the rowboat and canoe. It's a perfect and quiet home base that's centrally located in the Finger Lakes with lots of hiking and wineries a short drive away. I'm sure we'll be back.

The cottage was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. The property manager called us right back when we had a question. I would definitely stay here again!

This cottage had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The kids had fun fishing. The weather wasn’t that warm to swim but my kids didn’t like the amount of seaweed anyway. Great getaway for our family!!

The cottage is clean, spacious and had everything we needed to cook and grill meals. Great lawn space for tanning, games. Wrapped up each evening with bonfires. Loved this place!

We had an incredible trip. The property is fantastic. The lake is literally in the backyard of the house. In the backyard, there are numerous sitting areas to chill, to eat, and to enjoy the surroundings. There is a designated place to build a campfire as well. The house is equipped with absolutely anything you might need on your stay. Everything from life jackets to a sewing kit to a shovel for tending the fire was provided. There is a boat with paddles already attached that make navigating the lake easy. The kitchen is fully equipped for any food you might need to prepare. There are numerous appliances such as a toaster, a coffee machine, and a blender. There are also multiple pots and pans. There are 3 bedrooms with closet space in each of them. There are many house-warming details throughout the house that make it feel like home such as fresh flowers in the kitchen and a little ceramic plate on the nightstand for you to put your jewelry on before bed. Jean (the property owner) responds almost immediately to any question you might have. Overall, my family and I had a fantastic stay at this property. We enjoyed our nights at the campfire and our breakfasts with a view of the lake.

This was a very nice place. The cottage was a good size. We loved the backyard. Fully fenced in, dock and stairs to the water, a row boat and a canoe to use, floats, fishing poles, life vests, a fire pit, a grill, a lot of trees for shade, and a great view! The description did say the cottage had air conditioning, which we assumed would be central air; it was only bedroom window units. The kitchen also wasn’t as well equipped as we had hoped. Had the most of the basics, but not great for lots of cooking. Also, the water in the bathroom smelled very much like sulfur, which wasn’t too pleasant. Overall, we spent a lot of time outside and had a great trip.
