Very expensive even for lunch around the pool. The road closures meant it was a long way to travel and taxis were not happy to go there

Thé spot is amazing. The hotel is quite large and spacious. The rooms are big and extremely comfy

The music at the pool when you want to be in a quiet space.

loved the pool design with the super shallow side—fun for kids or just for soaking and baking. great views, nice enough breakfast, friendly staff. pretty architecture, nice gardens. cute cats and butterflies (my daughter’s favorite things).

the gardening planter box outside my window was weedy, which was surprising. the handheld shower head was broken and spraying everywhere. the gratis toiletries were kinda off-brand and “meh.” the A/C in the room couldn’t keep up. there was a set of weird ridges, edges, and concrete lips everywhere on the ground near the front desk that were a constant tripping hazard. there were no rails or gradual steps at the pool for my 72-year-old mother-in-law to get in and out of the pool, so we had to help her in and out every day (she’s totally capable by herself, if only there were rails or decent steps). the poolside seating was so low to the ground that she could barely use the poolside furniture (super low like Japanese style, almost at the ground). there was no valet on duty at night (not that late, btw!)

The breakfast was terrific! lots of choices, included in room rate and delicious! Highly recommend massages at Spa - they are incredible and with amazing views.

get there early to get a lounge chair by the pool. Not enough for all hotel guests when hotel is full. Beautiful pool and views though!!

the food at the Rivyra overpromises and under-delivers, calamari and steak were served cold, non creative presentation and ordinary flavors

The bathroom was very tired and looked grubby with cracked basin
