Spacious room, electric blankets, spare blankets and pillows, rear sliding door to verandah overlooking creek.
Breakfast had to be arranged through local cafes - could be delivered, but that was an awkward arrangement so we took our own cereal. Restaurant was closed - apparently short of a chef.

The room is roomy and comfortable with good facilities. Very comprehensive prior communication made check-in easy and efficient. Information was also provided on restaurants and things to see in Burra. The in-house restarurant has an interesting menu, for which booking in advance is encouraged, but see later comments on this.
We had not booked the in-house restaurant in advance as we could not commit to an exact time of arrival. On arrival we saw the interesting in-house menu and expressed interest in eating there. We were told the in-house restaurant had space for us if we waited, which we did. However, we were not told that most of the items on the in-house menu would not available by the time we sat down. If we had known in advance we could have gone somewhere else in Burra to eat.

The location - walk to centre of town
Noisy air con - ours and next doors ! Dated decor , old carpet , old bedspread , old screen door , darkness of room , overkill on the emails

I've been back numerous times to this motel. The owners are amazingly efficient, professional, and friendly. I'll be coming back many more times in the near future.
The rooms are always clean, quiet, and close to town. I love how they love their town so much that they let you know of all the attractions and eateries before your stay so I can plan ahead. This is my favourite motel when travelling for work.
Would be ideal if it was better lit for travelling workers, but that's barely an issue.

The service was good, communication was excellent. Location is great. Restaurant was excellent. All staff were helpful. Microwave was good.
In need of renovations. Tap in bathroom loose, carpet stained. Over priced. Room smelt musky. The carpets and furniture need to be at least stem cleaned.

Good location, comfortable and a good restaurant attached to the property.
Because of Covid precautions no personal contact with reception but was kept well informed prior to visit with email.

Quiet as out of town. Bed comfortable. Probably needs a few tweaks regarding updating.
We stayed two nights and never saw the owners. Keys left in room for us on arrival.
Restaurant was closed on certain days so no food. No contact with any person.

Very clean and comfortable spacious room moments from town. Very quiet. Comfortable bed, strong shower and good lighting throughout. Lovely outlook over creek. Would definitely stay again.
Older style air conditioner was quite noisy. Additional plates and cutlery needed to take advantage of toaster and microwave .

The air conditioning system was noisy and must have been on a timing system as it continued to stop during the night and we had to turn it back on
Therefore we had a very interrupted sleep
