Lovely beachfront bungalow, just steps away from one of Cairns most beautiful beaches. Staff welcoming, bungalow clean and tidy with all your basic needs covered. The local bar and grill across the road serves cold drinks and great food.

This is true beachfront accomodation in cabins or camping. Cabins slowly being renovated once peak season is over.
There is a Bar and Grill close by if you eat out but there are also a full kitchen facilities and crockery etc if you want to eat in.your cabin. Front deck of cabin overlooks the beach a few steps away.
Listen to the waves and curlews at night. Other residents quiet and location perfect for long beach walks.
This is an older facility but we are retired and prefer beachfront retro to luxury Cairns city prices.
Nude beach mentioned in other reviews was a long way south so nowhere near us.
Some dated handles and a few cracked tiles.
Could offer extra pillows. If you are fussy just bring your own.

Neat, clean and with its own deck on the beachfront. A decent sized fridge. Although near the main road, traffic noise was negligible and I noticed none during the night. Lovely to hear the gentle waves and wake up to the sunrise. The bed and pillows were really comfortable.
Proximity to neighbouring cabins means some lack of privacy when you're on the deck. Cigarette smoke from neighbours was inescapable. Decor and furniture is basic, but apparently cabin upgrades are in progress.

Absolute beachfront location is unbeatable. Cabins are simple but perfectly comfortable. A gem.

.The fact the beach was steps away from our cabin was great .The pool looked clean and inviting .Lounges around pool were good .BBQ area clean and well maintained.Cabin was spotlesss. Could walk across road to the tavern
Some pegs in laundry .(I suppose they get stolen).We came on a plane so didnt have any .A hairdryer would have been nice as well.

Love this place. So close to the beach! You are on the sand right on the beach. We loved it!!! Better than some fancy apartment or hotel which has no atmosphere or connection to nature.

It is a shame the second bedroom is so tiny as not the best for an adult but it worked.

The location is excellent. So close to the beach. Compact and comfortable.
No TV in bedroom. Only single chairs in lounge area. A long couch in lounge area would have been more comfortable. A shame the bar grill across the road shut at 5.00 pm. Even 6.00 pm would have been better.
