The property was absolutely perfect. We were 3 couples, family and friends, it was spacious, clean and comfortable. The rooftop was nice for the days or nights we simply wanted to have a stay in gathering, the views are beautiful. Evelina, the owner , thought about everything, well organized, she even had accessories for our beach days like the chairs, umbrella, and cooler. She brought us homemade spinach and cheese pies, the perfect hostess. The location is walking distance (15-20 min) to town where you can find restaurants, shops, live entertainment. I would absolutely recommend this place in a heart beat. Thank you Evelina.

This property is cute and cozy. It was just as pictured/described in the listing. It's close to the beach and a short walking distance to the town. The apartment was clean and organized. Evangelia was a fantastic host. She communicated all the information we needed before and during our stay. We were delighted with this great space and highly recommend it.

Evelyn is a wonderful host. The place is impably clean, comfortable and has everything, I do mean everything you will need. Do take time to enjoy the terrace with its breath taking view of the sea. The location is great. This is like being in a 5 star hotel but in a house that feels like home.

The apartment was fabulous, clean and spacious -it has everything you could possibly need and is a short walk about 20 mins into Harbour area.Chania was beautiful and has lovely restaurants and shops.I cant wait to go back we had a great stay!

Evelyn’s House was even more beautiful than we expected from the photos! There were so many little touches that made our stay comfortable - beach bags, umbrellas, fully stocked kitchen, etc. The location made it so easy to walk to the mini-market, Old Town, the harbor, and many waterfront restaurants. For excursions, we were usually picked up at the Hotel Irida which was less than a block away. The neighborhood was very quiet, and there is no more relaxing place than the rooftop terrace of Evelyn’s House! Make sure to catch the sunrises and sunsets. Evelyn answered all of questions promptly, and her mom was an outstanding welcoming party!

Everything we needed was here! Plenty of space, well-equipped kitchen, great location, clean, and comfortable. Our hosts supplied us with helpful local information about restaurants and sites to see, and were very welcoming. We especially enjoyed the view from the roof deck.

Fabulous stay at Evelyn's house. All communication before and during was excellent, Evelyn was very attentive and responsive and nothing was too much trouble. Property is a short walk from Chania restaurants and bars on seafront but is in a nice quiet location. Thoroughly recommended.

We have stayed in vacation rentals throughout Europe and this is our #1 stay. It is spacious, has beautiful rooftop views, is extremely clean, and has every amenity you could need. The owner was extremely responsive and we received thorough directions on all the appliances. A great location—Highly recommend!

This property offers all you could need in a stay on Crete, it is close to the old Venetian harbor and old town (about a 20 minute walk). There is plenty of room to spread out and while we were only 4 it could easley accommodate two families. The host made some restaurant recommendations as well as all sorts of recommendations for daily excursions, she even went so far as to arrange transportation from the airport on arrival and to the airport on departure.

Four adults over 60 enjoyed the property and all Chania has to offer. The only small improvement we can suggest is that the living room could be more comfortable.. there was only a small couch and one large chair, and both were extremely low to the floor. It was difficult to get in and out of such low furniture given our age. And since there were 4 of us, one more chair would have been nice. We loved the hot tub and alll the beds were comfortable. The location was great and the place was spotless.

Myself and 6 friends stayed at this lovely property in the perfect location for visiting Chania, Greece. A short walk to the sea front and incredible restaurants, and a perfect central base for a visit to Chania. We arrived late in the evening due to our ferry being late, but Evelyn’s very gracious mother was there to greet us and show us around the apartment. Evelyn’s home was perfect for our 7 day stay. Each bedroom has a balcony with amazing views and an ensuite. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms spotlessly clean. Due to warm weather we were able to take advantage of the great roof top deck with its jacuzzi and beautiful views. It was a 5 minute walk to the sea front with an abundance of restaurants, the old town and Venetian port. A handful of restaurants were also within a short walk along with a mini market and bakery just up the road. Evelyn’s also has a washer/dryer and parking in the garage for one car, although there was plenty of available parking on the street. If I were to stay again in Chania, I would definitely stay at Evelyn’s.

6 adults spent 10 glorious days in Chania and could not have asked for more perfect accommodations. Evelyn’s house was ideal. The pictures do not do it justice. Each bedroom has a balcony with amazing views and an ensuite. The beds were as comfortable as any high end hotel we have stayed in. It was spotlessly clean, spacious and located in an area that was literally a 3-5 minutes walk to a few really good restaurants, market, bakery and the most charming little beaches. An easy 15 minute stroll to the Venetian harbour and endless waterfront tavernas and shops. Evelyn was the perfect host. She responded quickly to my endless emails prior to our trip and throughout our stay. Her mother was at the apartment to greet us when we arrived late after a flight delay and kindly walked us through the place and explained every detail. A welcome bottle of wine awaited us which was a lovely touch. Chania is a charming place and Evelyn's house is the icing on the cake. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else should we be fortunate enough to visit again.

Very modern, comfortable home, with extras provided to make one’s stay feel more homelike. (robes, slippers, nice linens) The a/c worked beautifully, showers had excellent water pressure, and the washing machine was newer with a dry setting. One of the bedrooms had a nice relaxing mountain view. The best feature was the rooftop with the jacuzzi, view of the ocean, city, and mountains. Check-in/check-out was easy with a parking garage. It’s steep getting out of the driveway, but parking on the street was never an issue. Quiet neighborhood, and an easy 10 minute walk to the center of Chania. We loved the restaurant, “Blue”, an easy 5 minute walk from the apartment. It was a pleasure to work with Evelyn, and we would happily return again.

Evelyn's House is lovely - spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you need. The old town is only a 15-minute walk away, and there are nearby shops and supermarkets. Evelyn was quick to respond to all our messages, before and during our stay, and very helpful with recommendations and tips. I would recommend hiring a car to make the most of the attractions Crete has to offer, especially if you want to go to the beach. All in all, we've had a great week and Evelyn's House is great!!

Evelyn's place was perfect for our group of 7. The location was convenient with walking distance to all the the old town shops and restaurants yet very safe and quiet. Plenty of room for all with ensuite bathrooms and the highlight is the rooftop deck and hot tub! Fantastic views! We love the place! The property was perfectly located to walk to restaurants, shopping, swimming in the crystal clear sea, harbor, museums & sites of interest. The property itself was beautiful, outfitted with every convenience & luxury, & spotlessly clean. Rooftop area was very relaxing with an amazing view. They provided write-ups on the area with maps & recommendations. The property management was quite helpful & responsive!

With 3 bedrooms each with a balcony, a complete kitchen, spacious living and dining area, and rooftop patio, Evelyn's House provided a very comfortable place from which to explore beautiful Crete. Be aware that while the small elevator can save climbing one flight of stairs, there are stairs to get to the bedrooms and more to the rooftop patio.

My wife and I, along with my daughter, son and daughter in law stayed in Evelyn's house for three weeks over the Christmas and New Years holidays. The property's location is perfect. An easy and safe 15 minute walk to central Chania, where the winter off season means few tourists but still lots of food and shopping options. An hour to the snow capped mountains to the south, and 2 blocks to the water to the north. Plenty of on street parking, since you are far enough outside central Chania to avoid the congestion. Plenty of food and grocery options nearby, as well as pharmacies, donut shops, coffee shops, crepe shops, etc etc etc. The house lays out perfectly for a small group. 3 bedrooms upstairs, and the 1 downstairs just outside the front door. All 4 bedrooms have their own bathrooms, with some showers larger than others. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook, although we mostly had breakfast at home, and dinner out on the town. Pretty sure it was 2 dinners at home, 19 out on the town at one of the many excellent and affordable restaurants in Chania. Plenty of support from Evelyn and her sister, but not so much that it felt intrusive. All in all a perfect home for a perfect winter break. If you are trying to decide where to stay in Crete, Evelyn's house is a fantastic choice.

Evelyn was very responsive and caring about our stay. The property was lovely. Clean and close to the harbour, shopping and restaurants. Very walkable as we didn't rent a car. Definitely worth coming back on our next visit.
