Wonderful mountain location with incredible views of the Picos. Friendly and kind staff who were keen to help. True five star guest exerience. Superb quality and range of food at the restaurant. Quiet, relaxing, welcoming.
Lack of facilities compared with the impression on Booking.com. No group activities available. A lot more could have been done to create hiking routes, cycling routes, organise yoga, group walks etc. Also, we were not sure what qualities made this an "eco" hotel. Even after asking staff, we were not sure. This is a bit misleading but didn't detract from a wonderful overall experience.

Spectacular view and pleasant well decorated house
Breakfast. Very strange arrangement of the process, no right order

Excellent location that is a bit remote and away from the bustle of the city. The scenery view from the rooms, terrace, and restaurant is spectacular. Excellent food quality at the restaurant, and variety of wine list. Spa facilities and massage were excellent. Staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful, making the experience even more special - everyone including restaurant manager and staff, receptionists, spa staff and the car attendant.
Spa facilities were not free to use for hotel guests but were at a charge of €35 per person which is quite steep.

We have just left the hotel having stayed for 6 nights having spent the previous week touring northern Spain.
Our first week was very busy with lots of driving and sightseeing and we were looking for a place to stay for our second week which would provide much needed R&R.
Our last stop off at the end of the first week was A Coruña in Galicia and we'd decided that the best place to find a base for the second week would be the Asturias region.
I did a search online and came across this hotel which looked just the ticket.
Our wish list was:-
Secluded but accessible for short day trips
Small and intimate
Serenity
Wellness
Spa
Views
Mountains
First class gastronomy
Five star service
The Puebloastar delivered in spades in each and every one of these categories.
The hardest thing to describe, and the photographs online just don't do it justice, is the views.
Surrounded by national parks and the Picos de Europa within spitting distance the view from our room, the drinks terrace and restaurant was indescribably beautiful.
The staff are so very accommodating. Some evenings we didn't want to eat too much and 'Harry the chef was happy to make salads or whatever we wanted. We visited his kitchen and chose our Monkfish one evening. He's a very accomplished chef indeed.
All of the staff were amazing. Unfortunately I didn't get all of their names but "Nacho" and Abdul amongst others really looked after us. By the time we had to leave we felt we were part of the family.
One evening there was a terrific storm which was fantastic to watch with lightning over the mountains.
We experienced the most beautiful double rainbow which, silly as it may sound, brought us to tears.
The hotel is so at one with Mother Nature you can't possibly stay here without feeling spirituality uplifted.
I can't recommend the hotel enough!

A beautiful hotel in an amazing location in Picos de Europa. Lovely rooms, great breakfast, pampering spa
The restaurant is great for breakfast, not so much for dinner. They made an admirable effort to cater for vegetarians and vegans, but not all the dishes were good.
There is a heated poolinside the spa, but it is not free and must be booked ahead as part of a 90-minute circuit. We would have loved to enjoy this pool without all the circuit, and for free as guests.
Some rooms had separate beds instead of one king bed, which was uncomfortable.

Gorgeous location with wrap around views of the mountains, amazing art, friendly and gracious staff, terrific food. The room was outstanding. Very convenient location to access nearby towns, restaurants and beaches! The spa was great - amazing massage and we did hydrotherapy every day. We'll definitely be back.
It was mostly incredible and I have almost no critiques. Sometimes it was hard to find bar staff outside of official meal hours. The pool was under repair for one day.

The breakfast was magnificent - a feast. The ambience of the hotel and the serene location made our stay extra special
Was as good as it gets. If I had to mention one minus it would be to change up the menu daily although the staff went out of the way to fulfil your requirements wherever possible.

the hotel does a very admirable job to bring luxury to that remote place
well taking in account how isolated this place is nothing really.

Utterly faultless from start to finish.
The staff were warm and welcoming, there was literally nothing they could not do for us at any time of day to make our stay exceptional.
This was a special, pre-baby “babymoon” holiday for us and they really went out of their way to make it one of our most memorable holidays ever.
The rooms are gorgeously appointed, with lots of little touches that lift Puebloastur above all other places. The view from our room was like nothing on earth. The whole place is spotlessly clean.
The food is also exceptional - from a simple toastie to a whole side of monkfish! And the hydrospa was also wonderful (and worth the extra money! I felt so relaxed!).
We travel a lot and there are few places I would return to in favour of a new adventure but Puebloastur is somewhere to which we would wholeheartedly return. Thank-you for having us!
Nothing to put here.

in one word: everything. The room with the view. The art. The food. The massage but the kindness of the staff.👍

It is terrific place and spa, well decorated. You will sleep in peace and quiet countryside, breathing in clean air, and in the morning it is impossible to take your eyes off the beautiful landscape outside the window

The location and general facilities were fantastic, and the view from our room was breathtaking. The staff at reception were great.
Unfortunately poor health and safety precautions in the spa led to a severe burn. The reception staff were very apologetic, provided aloe vera and waived the spa fee, but it cast a shadow over the trip and is still very painful days later.
Staff at the restaurant on several occasions forgot to bring items we ordered.
