We enjoyed this house and the location. It is calm, the view is great (sunset garanteed), the design of the house, the confort and the taste of everything inside and outside. The garden and the swimming pool are great. The neighbors are far away and it is not a problem to have late dinner on the terrasse with friends and children. Mougins is a beautiful village and there is so much to see around The maintenance of the property, the quality of the kitchen appliances, the bed confort, the service provided and the environment were at the top We will probably come back next year.

A very beautiful villa in a lovely location. Everything was as described-very private- wonderful extras we enjoyed were the grand piano (which they had tuned for us), the baby foot (table football), table tennis, and the Japanese tub. Beautiful garden, pool and view. Very important-the owners were always available and so kind and helpful along with their housekeeper -also very kind and helpful. Highly recommended.

Having had 10 days in Villa Canelle, we'd like another 10. Nigel and Nathalie have put together a wonderful house combining the practicalities and hi-tech of modern living with some unique designer touches (red granite kitchen tops, Japanese bath - awesome) and amazing open indoor and outdoor space. We love Antibes and especially its market (though other visitors seem to claim Cannes wins there) and had a wonderful day climbing down the rocks to an almost private cove just past Theoule-sur-Mer. Lots of arty stuff - from famous (Matisse, Picasso etc) to some really quite good local art as close as Mougins. Check out the local restaurants at Mouans-Sartoux - walkable and lower priced than the tourist destinations. Liberal use of google maps means you can run to the hills - via the canal - in about 10 mins. Then you can find some challenging ascent if that's your thing. We ate outside almost every evening (in September) - the open doors/windows make it super-easy. Best road trip was to Vence (Matisse Chapelle du Rosaire) via Tourettes-sur-Loup during which we also came across lovely Valbonne. A gem of a town and market. Overall - highly recommended and thank you to Nigel and Nathalie - you have a beautiful home in a wonderful place.

If you want to find a villa in the South of France that is modern, comfortable, quiet and very well equipped then I bet you don't find anywhere better than this. We came back for the second year running and loved it. The beds are really comfy (plus there is quiet, efficient aircon in all the bedrooms), everywhere is spotlessly clean, the pool (salt water not chlorine) is great, all the electrical stuff works, there is table tennis and table football. Plus the Weber BBQ is fab. Last but not least, the owners are a pleasure to deal with - thanks again Nigel and Natahlie!

A wonderful house in great surroundings! The description of the house is accurate, the property is clean and it is well maintained. The owners are very keen to help with any information you might need. The garden is lush and the pool is very nice. There is a nice long walk along a canal just by the house which is a big plus if you like running. We (six persons) spent two great weeks here and we all could indeed recommend the house others.

Back in UK and wishing we were still in Mougins! We had the loveliest time in the villa, everything was just as we hoped. Beautifully designed with plenty of space. Loved having the big wide open sliding doors, the generous amount of bathrooms and the beautiful garden and pool. We sat outside most nights, 5 adults, and enjoyed the BBQ with food purchased from Cannes market (open every morning except Monday, amazing) and the nearby supermarkets, of which we were spoilt for choice) and swimming pool, which you can light up for night time swims. The 'boys' loved the table football and we all enjoyed the table tennis. An added delight were the fireflies! We particularly appreciated it's location, very close to Cannes but also to the stunning mountains, lakes and villages nearby. We had day visits to Grasse, Cannes, Verdon Gorge (spectacular, some of us went kayaking here), The Luberon, Nice, Monte Carlo, Iles de lerins.. by boat from Cannes (beautiful), we even spent a day in Imperia in Italy visiting a superb state of the art olive museum and Italian produce store, the coastal drive down was simply spectacular! Several days were spent, by popular demand, snorkeling/lazing/eating from the private beach at Plage Chez Joseph, Chemin de la Garoupe, Cap d'Antibes. Plenty of public free parking and then you can hire loungers by the half day or full day, approx 10 to 20 euros each but you do get superb waiter service for drinks etc, and constant attentive with spare towels, extra sun umbrellas etc. and a very nice restaurant, all with views of some of the biggest yachts in the world moored in the bay. A real treat! Just beautiful!!!

Wir waren mit 2 Familien mit Kindern in der Villa. Sie ist sehr gut eingerichtet, in der Küche gibt es wirklich nichts was fehlt! Gepflegter Weber-Gasgrill, 2 Kühlschänke, Nespresso Kaffeemaschine mit Milchaufschäumer. Sehr schöner Poolbereich, gut gepflegt. Tischtennisplatte und Tischkicker fast neu.Die Bäder in den Zimmern sind etwas klein, ist aber nicht schlimm da es zwei zusätzliche große Bäder gibt. Sehr nette Vermieter, die uns viele Tips gegeben haben auch für Ausflüge, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten usw. Werden wir bestimmt mal wieder buchen, ein sehr gepflegtes Haus, empfehlen wir unbedingt weiter!

We spent a fantastic Easter holidays (fabulous eggs hunting in the beautiful garden with my son) It was so nice to enjoy such a peaceful retreat in the nature, forest all around though so close from all facilities ( the 2 supermarkets are down the road and the villages of Mouans-Sartoux and Mougins less than 3 km away to go for a drink or a nice restaurant). The modern and spacious architect house is very pleasant to live and nicely equipped. We can very easily share with 2 families and enjoy our privacy as all bedrooms even the children have en suite bathrooms. The big space around the pool and garden is ideal for nice dinners and shared time to spend with friends or family I will strongly recommend this house. Marie CC

Nous avons passe un sejour fantastique. La maison est spacieuse, tres propre et extremement bien equipee. Ayant ete construite recemment, tout est neuf. Les lits sont tres confortables, la salle de bain japonaise est un regal avec la vue sur le jardin. Les pieces a vivre sont baignees dans la lumiere et la cuisine en open plan se prete extremement bien au mode de vie estival.Nous avons adore avoir un acces direct au jardin depuis le salon et la cuisine Le jardin est grand, entoure de verdure et les enfants ont pu jouer en toute securite.La piscine et le reste du jardin profitent du soleil toute la journee, du matin au soir, un detail que nous avons tous vraiment apprecie! L'emplacement de la maison est ideal, nichee au bout d'un chemin au calme et sans vis a vis. Des vacances tres reussies et tres reposantes en grande partie grace au confort et a l'emplacement de la maison. Nous reviendrons!

Liebe Nathalie, lieber Nigel, vielen Dank für die schönen 9 Tage. Unsere Familie (8 Erwachsene + 1 Kleinkind) hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung ist super und alles ist sauber und gepflegt. Die Hausumgebung ist ruhig und war für uns sehr erholsam. Besonders der Pool hat es uns angetan. Auch im Oktober kann man ihn noch benutzen. The villa is beautifully equipped and very spacious. We went on holiday with our friends and the layout meant that we could have one family upstairs and one downstairs. All bedrooms had en-suite facilities and there were plenty of towels both for the bathrooms and pool. The villa is just down the road from a supermarket so it was easy to get supplies and it was also easy to get to Cannes and Antibes via car. The views from outside are lovely and our kids spent hours in the pool and on the table tennis. I would not hesitate to recommend this villa or to go there again.

We recently stayed at Villa Cannelle with our young children (3 and 18mths) . The villa is beautiful, recently decorated and with lovely grounds. All the amenities needed are in the villa, the kitchen is very well equipped. The house is set well up into the forest but once driven its quite easy to find and the views are lovely. The pool is large and was a nice temperature , its a salt pool but this is so mild you will never notice and we actually preferred it to chlorinated pools. Our children had a fantastic time there and it proved a quite ideal holiday home.

We were two families from Norway looking for a place to stay on the Riviera. Our demands was 4 bedrooms, a swimming pool for swimming, (not only bathing) and in a quiet area. After searching the net, we found HomeAway as the best provider. After picking out 10 subjects, a family meeting decided that La Canelle should be our choice. We did not regret that. Some of our party muttered some concerns when we late in the evening drove up through the woods, but when the woods opened up, and we saw the house and the view, everyone was happy. We were very friendly met by the owners, and shown around the property, before we sat down with a glass of wine to discuss the possibilities of our stay. The next day, seeing the property in daylight, we took a good liking to it, and ended up staying in and around the house more than we intended. Sunbathing, swimming and cooking. Since some of our party was very happy with cooking, and the kitchen was so well equipped, we ate more at home than on restaurants. Being almost new on the rental market, we expected, and experienced, a clean, well maintained and tidy property. Our time was of course also spent on doing the regular sightseeing stuff. Situated as it is in Mougins, with short travelling distances to all Provence, we went to Monaco, Nice, Cannes, St. Tropez and Grasse. We saw the Gorges du Verdon and Les Grottes de St. Cezaire. Some of us even went to see one stage of Tour de France, and to Cremona in Italy. We can warmly recommend this villa for people who want to spend some quality time on the Riviera.
