We spent three weeks with three persons in this beautiful accommodation and we were very pleased with this apartment . The rooms are spacious, the whole apartment is clean, the kitchen is very well equipped, the technical items (Internet router, TV, washing machine etc) are in a very good condition … there is nothing to be complained about. The complex (Les Orchidess) is well secured and in a good shape … the only thing to be mentioned is that the walk to the (beautiful) public beach of Flic-en-Flac is not so conveniant because of the cementery that has to be rounded every time, you want to go to the beach / restaurants (fortunatly there is a generous pool in the complex) … the way to the center of Flic-en-Flac with its shops and restaurants is not tooo far. Mandas brother Bala is very helpful and he has done a brilliant job. Thank you for that pleasant stay in Mauritius.

The apartment is very well equipped and maintained, everything worked perfectly well and we found all in line with the description. Very conveniently, our hosts had arranged for the airport transfers through Bala, who also handed over the apartment to us. The location is very convenient, it's close to the village and the beach. Note, however, that many roads don't have pavements and it's not always fun to walk there among lots of cars, especially with small kids and/or at night. A rental car is a good option to get around, with safe parking available next to the house. We can really recommend this apartment!

Hi Manda Sorry for not reacting earlier, but because of the busy Christmas period It got a little bit out of my mind. After a difficult start in Amsterdam, due to the snow, we finally arrived in Mauritius one day later (without luggage for two days) but from that moment on we had an excellent time. It started at the airport where the friendly and helpful Bala was waiting for us to pick us up. He brought us safely to our apartment, situated in a quiet area but indeed close to the supermarket and the beach. The apartment is equipped well and luckily the airco is ok too because we are not used to the high night temperatures. During the day, when we were not at the beach or at the excellent swimming pool, we mostly sat outside on the terrace in front of the apartment. As a matter of fact, we were only inside the house for having a shower and for sleeping. In Mauritius people live outside and so did we. So we didn' t watch TV ( there are no Dutch or Flamish spoken channels on it like in most places in the world) but because of wifi, which was excellent we could listen to our favourite radio and news programmes. There was a small electrical problem but Bala assured us he would check and fix it. Mauritius is nice and we tried to visit the most important places of it on our own. Isle aux Cerfs is a beauty for sure and there are some other places with astonishing beaches. So we had a magnificent time over there with very sunny, hot days. When Bala drove us back to the airport he asked us if we were satisfied and when we would come back. We told him that we were very pleased about our stay and about him too, but he was surprised to hear dat we wouldn't come back in the next few years for the simple reason that there are still so many nice places in the world we would like to see. Besides of that a 14 hours flight to get there is also pretty tough. It is an excellent place for people ( and I have spoken several of them) who escape the cold winters in Europe and stay there for several months. So never say never never but for the next few years we would like to explore other horizons. Nevertheless we can highly recommend the apartment and we also would like to thank Bala and Manda of course too, for the quick and correct communication. Lovely apartment in a nice complex, not too noisy, and very clean (cleaner visits twice a week). The apartment is very well equipped, spacious and the air con in the bedrooms is a God send! Nice to be on the ground floor, though not directly by the pool which meant that it was peaceful. The pool is a good size and we often had it to ourselves. Security staff manned 24 hours which was reassuring (and useful if we had any local queries!). Short walk to local shops. We would definitely stay here again (and we have stayed at a number of places in Flic en flac over the years). Useful points to note - the wifi is limited and ran out after 10 days (but we are heavy users). Also, if you don't want cockroaches to fly in, keep your outer doors and windows closed after dark (and buy some cockroach spray to zap them if you do - this was the only time we saw cockroaches which are common in Mauritius). Tourist tips - we visited Casella and petted lions (well worth a visit). Snorkeling is good at Flic en flac beach (go to the end near the Spar) but if you want an even more amazing snorkeling experience, visit Blue Bay Marine Park - amazing! Manda was easy to contact and communications was swift, she helped with any queries I had prior to departure. I Arrived at apartments and was greeted by Bala, a really friendly guy who showed us around the apartment and how to operate TV , Wifi and the Water Heater. The apartment is full kitted out with a Flat screen TV and cable, I found the Wifi to be really hi-speed and streaming was easy. The kitchen has everything you need, and there is also an iron and iron table. Made good use of the swimming pool and Flic en flac beach and restaurants are only 6 mins walk away, plenty of off road car park space, both the apartments and car park are monitored 24/7 by on site security guards. The apartment is air conditioned and also has accordian steel grilles as added security and internal safes which are free. You can also use the landline telephone for local calls free. There is a maid who comes 2 times a week and keeps the apartment spotless. Plenty of charge points for iphones/ laptops / camcorder batteries. If you are looking for UK standard apartment with all your UK essentials in Mauritius, this apartment is for you. I would definitely use these apartments again and recommend. In June 2017 we spent 2 weeks in this well equiped, comfortable apartment, enjoyed the pool round the corner and the short distance to the ocean (5 minutes on foot) The apartment offers all you need for some relaxing holidays and is situated perfectly, so you can reach all the interesting parts and sights of the island within short time. Nous avons passé une super semaine dans cet appartement, près de la grande plage de flic en flac, près des commodites. L'appartement est grand même trop grand pour nous 2 adultes et 2 enfants (3 ans et 1an). Il est équipé d'une baignoire BB d'une chaise haute et d'un lit BB. Nous avons profitez pleinement de la piscine le seul jour de pluie et tous les autres jours en rentrant de la plage. Merci à la femme de ménage qui a étendu notre linge..! Our family rented an apparent in Les Orchidees for 10 days. We had a wonderful stay over Christmas and we spent many hours at the long white beach 150 meters from the house. But since we are pale Swedes we were also very grateful for the beautiful pool in Les Orchidees. There we could have a quick bath when we needed. The apartment was very clean, well furnished and fully equipped and had two nice bedrooms with separate bathrooms . We cooked in the nice kitchen and hade most of our dinners out at the terrace outside the living room. Some evenings we went down to the street along the beach and had dinners at an Chinese restaurang. The apparent and the garden was Christmas decorated so we did´t miss our Christmas tree and the snowy winter at home. Now we are back again in Sweden with - 10 degres, but we look back to our wonderful vacation with lots of joy. Thank you Manda for giving us all the information in advance so we felt secure and also a big thank you to your brother Bala that greeted us when we came and helped us with all our question. We hope we can come back next year! We can really recommend your apartment to friends and relatives!

We had the most wonderful stay. The owners brother Bala met us on arrival and he gave us lots of useful information. The apartment was perfect for us and our son loved the pool and how close we were to the most beautiful beaches. If we make it back we'd definitely check to see if this apartment is available.

Apartment was very comfortable, spacious well equipped and spotlessly clean. We were met there by the owners brother, Bala who showed us around and provided all the information about the complex and the surrounding area. We spent most of our days exploring the island. The coastline is stunning. The local beach is great to visit to watch the sunset and just enjoy taking part in local life. We would recommend this apartment for a really enjoyable stay

It was our first trip to Mauritius. And we liked it very much! It was one of our best vacations. As we are always travelling with our little daughter, we prefer to rent an apartment. The apartment at Orchidees was the same as on photos. It is very clean and equiped with everything you need during your stay,: washing machine, toster, coffee maker, microwave, modern furniture, etc. A lady came twice a week to clean the apartment and change the bed lining and towels. The swimming pool is very big and clean. We liked to swim there during our stay. Manda and Bala were very attentive to us and called us several times to make sure that we didn't need anything. But I can't imagine what else we need to stay at such a wonderful apartment. We felt like at home there. The beach and the restaurants are just 10 mintes walk from the Orchidees. Our favourite restaurant was Rib & Reef. The prices are moderate and disches are very tasty and the food was always fresh there. And the staff is very attentive to the clients. The apartment's location is favourable, because we can easily access any place of interest. The park Casela is just few kilometers from this place, for example. There is also a big mall with a very good children's playground and carting in 5 minutes drive. Manda helped us to rent a car at the local company at the cheapest price on the island. The driver met us at the airport and even drove us to the place. It was cheaper to order a car to the airport, than to hire a taxi. But you can take a bus to travel around the island. Manda, thank you for attention and assistance! Service was perfect. We have experience of renting an apartment in different countries, and I must admit that your apartment was the best we've ever rented.

Это была наша первая поездка на Маврикий. Мы отдыхали там с 16 апреля по 3 мая. Это самый лучший наш совместный отпуск. Так как мы всегда пушетествуем с дочкой, мы предпочитаем снимать апартаменты, чтобы там была кухня и стиральная машинка. Эти апартаменты точно такие же, как на фото. Очень чистая квартира, оснащенная всем необходимым для жизни: стиралка, тостер, коферварка, микроволнолвка, всевозможная посуда и современная мебель. Очень удобная кровать :) Манда заранее меня спросила, что лучше для нашей дочки: манеж или кровать. Впервые нам дали кровать!!! а не детский манеж. Также в квартире есть сейф. Как мы поменяли, кража там бывают часто. Два раза в неделю приходила женщина и убирала тщательно квартиру, меняла постельное и полотенца. Очень внимательнные хозяева, Манда и ее брат Бала, который сдавал и принимал у нас квартиру, звонили несколько раз, чтобы убедиться, что у нас все хорошо и узнавали, не надо ли нам чего-нибудь. Действительно чувствуешь себя там как дома. На территории очень большой бассейн. Наверно среди соседних комплектов он самый большой. Я ни разу не видела, чтобы его чистили, но он был чистый. Территория закрытая под охраной. Комплекс находится недалеко от пляжа 5-10 минут пешком. Вдоль пляжа располагаются рестораны. Наш любимые ресторан был Rib & Reef. Умеренные цены, вкусная еда и очень красивая подача. Персонал очень внимательный. Так как мы были постоянными клиентами, нам очень часто делали комплименты от ресторана. Было приятно. Вообще деревня Flic en Flac расположена очень удобно. Отсюда можно быстро доехать до любого места на острове. А если вы отдыхаете с ребенком, то рядом есть большой ТЦ с отличной детской площадкой. И одна из достопримечательностей острова- парке Casela. Нам там понравилось. По острову можно передвигаться на автобусах, но Манда (спасибо ей большое за это) помогла нам арендовать машину у местной компании. Это была самая низкая цена :) Телефон +57777473 . Муж легко перестроился на правостороннее движение и за 17 дней мы объехали весь остров!

Appartement en rdj idéalement situé à 5mn de la plage et du centre de Flic en Flac, conforme à la description, très calme ! résidence très bien entretenu, Gardiens très sympathiques, en particulier Sydney qui a été de bon conseil! Quelques soucis d'électricité mais le frère du propriétaire est très vite intervenu pour résoudre le problème ! Un point d'amélioration: en arrivant après 11h de vol, la fatigue se faisait ressentir, et il y avait la femme de ménage qui devait nettoyer l'appartement ! 2 nettoyages par semaine, appartement très propre ! Clim dispo dans les chambres ! Piscine super agréable surtout le soir, quel bonheur ! Un transat serait un plus sur la terrasse !

cet appartement est idéal : très bien placé (à proximité de la belle plage de Flic en Flac et des commerces) pour la visite de l'ile ainsi que pour le climat (plus sec même en saison de pluie que le reste de Maurice) et les prestations correspondent exactement au descriptif proposé dans l'annonce. Nous avons passé de très belles vacances en famille. Merci encore pour toutes les attentions de Manda et de la grande gentillesse de son frère qui nous a accueilli sur place. Nous conseillons vivement cette adresse et son rapport qualité/prix imbattable !!
