We were very pleased with our selection of this apartment for our 17 day stay in Ortigia. The location overlooking the sea and towards Castello Maniace was beautiful. The kitchen and bedroom both had balcony doors that opened up and there is a rooftop terrace too to enjoy meals outdoors. Having a washer too was a nice feature too. The area is quiet and with the shutters closed at night it is very dark for sleeping. We were very happy with our choice and hope to return again to this location!

We loved Ortigia! Our apartment was just perfect, very clean, and had everything we needed! Stephanie was outstanding in every way! She helped us navigate the island, gave us wonderful dinner recommendations and answered all our texts immediately! I would definitely stay again!

Great private secure apartment in close to everything location with a private terrace overlooking water. Stephanie was a gracious host and was quick to respond to our inquiries. Highly recommended!

Spent 5 nights and we found the unit to be bright, airy, spacious, well organized and clean. We honestly found that this was really the best location in Ortigia, with the absolute highlight being the views from the kitchen, bedroom and most of all the upstairs rooftop terrace, where even in November we enjoyed meals and cocktails overlooking the ocean and the castle. The kitchen area was small but adequate for preparing breakfast or snacks. Heavy rain can be a problem with leaking inside, even if the windows are closed. We were indeed advised of this beforehand, and to avoid this we had to assure that the exterior wood shutters had to be closed. The problem is if you are out during the day, and a storm quickly passes, closing the shutters is not obvious. Regardless, we could not think of a better place to stay, well located, with short walking distance to many restaurants as well as most sights, and oh yes....million dollar views.

The apartment is in a lovely quiet location in Ortigia with wonderful views over the Maniace Fort to the other side of the bay, All the old town of Ortigia is within a few minutes walk. The apartment is equipped with everything that you could need for your stay ans Stephanie made the booking and arrival process very easy for us. If you are thinking of staying in Siracusa (which we would highly recommend) this would provide an excellent base for your stay.

This apartment is lovely. There is beautiful architectural detail that is noticed once you walk through the door. The ceilings are high, and the apartment is very spacious, modern, bright and clean. The rooftop deck is large, and we spent a lot of time on it admiring the view and watching the activity below. Stephanie was great to deal with, and had fantastic restaurant recommendations. My husband and I loved our 5 night stay here.

This is a wonderful property to stay in. The views from the apartment and roof terrace are lovely. The apartment is also very comfortable and kept nice and cool during our stay when the weather was hot. Stephanie was an excellent and helpful host during our stay as well. Previous reviews have mentioned the restaurant below and whether this would be noisy during peak season. We had no issues with this at all. This is a quieter spot on the island yet just minutes from shops, bars and restaurants.

We had a perfect stay and loved the view from the apartment balconies. The apartment had everything we needed and we followed every restaurant recommendation and weren’t disappointed once.

Beautifully appointed apartment with a stunning roof terrace and gorgeous view out over the coastline of Ortigia. Perfectly located for everything on the island and Stéphanie was such a kind host - full of brilliant tips for where to eat and find the best aperitivi. We had an absolutely wonderful week here and hope to be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this bright renovated apartment in Ortigia overlooking the sea, and just a few minutes walk from the centre. The terrace with a view of the sea was an added bonus on sunny days. The kitchen was compact but had all we needed. Our contact person Stéphanie was very helpful, including in arranging bus station/airport transfers, and gave us some great tips on where to eat and to buy local products and crafts. Highly recommended!

A beautifully refurbished and comfortable apartment with wonderful views from the French doors and roof top terrace. There is a restaurant underneath the apartment, but it was closed while we were there, so it might be noisy when it's open and the height of the season. Can't see that being a deal breaker in any shape or form. Small 'corner shop' minutes away, and there's the daily market close to the bridge, so you don't need to travel far to sort out your self catering. Parked our car in the public 'underground' car park, 8 minute walk. The pay machine might have been playing up- charged us 1 euro for 4 days parking!!! Get in !!! Overall, a lovely apartment and a great base from which to explore the island- we lazed and did nothing while we were there - recharging our batteries- but would come again and explore.

Stephanie helped make this a very positive experience by being very helpful and kind with any of our questions or requests. The apartment with the 5 Star terrace is as advertised. The view is one of the best you will find anywhere. The location and neighbourhood is wonderful with many shops and restaurants close by. The flat is stylish, beautifully presented with lots of light and all you could need. Fantastic location and stunning terrace views. Bed was very comfortable and WiFi was great. Stephanie was a super host who happily arranged taxis and made recommendations which were good. All in all- a wonderful place to enjoy the delights of the island of ortigia.

A wonderful place to enjoy some piece and quiet and soak in the atmosphere of this historic old town. Situated outside of the hustle and bustle around the main tourist areas, only a minute away from the main activities but so peaceful at night and during the day. Very well equipped fully working kitchen with plenty of equipment to keep two amateur chefs very happy! even a working oven which seems a rarity in Italy! Stephanie gave us a fabulous set of recommendations of places and venues to visit and was helpful without being intrusive. Gorgeous space for a couple to enjoy - every night we sat on the roof terrace and marvelled at the views. And such a great view to wake up to in the morning - blue skies, sparkling sea and the duomo over the water. Parking at Talete is a 10 minute walk away. 2 swimming places very close by. 2 small food shops close by. Perfect for lots of bars and restaurants. Would highly recommend. Would love to return! We loved our stay at this Ortigia, Siracusa flat. Sightseeing in the morning, swimming at two nearby beaches in the afternoon followed by wine and cheese on the deck while looking out to the sea. Stephanie, the manager, was very helpful.

Small but charming apartment with a stunning view of the sea and the fort. The rooftop terrace is fantastic. The apartment is located above a great restaurant, aLevante, which serves the best Octopus in town!

We stayed in Stephanie’s apartment 6 nights and was saddened to leave. The unit is in a terrific location, where you can walk to everything: the main piazza and Duomo, restaurants, shops, the incredible market. The apartment is immaculate and well furnished in a renovated building with an upstairs terrace right on the sea. Stephanie is the perfect host who communicated with us prior to our stay and met us when we arrived. We’ve stayed in many vacation apartments and this was one of the best. Thank you Stephanie for seeing that all our needs were met. We loved Siracusa.

The apartment was spotlessly clean spacious with everything you would need and a lovely view from the balcony, the hostess Stephanie was very helpful giving us pointers on where to eat and sites to see. Overall somewhere I'd recommend to stay.

It is a most beautiful property, with stunning views. Stephanie looked after us so well and recommended the best fish restaurant I have ever eaten in. We even had a day with a private tour guide she recommended, who took us round the beautiful countryside and small towns nearby. Montalbano land. Renata

Very comfortable for two, enough space for us to unpack for the week, and immaculately clean. The view and the relatively comfortable size of the shower were real pluses. The kitchen is not really suitable to cook a lot of meals in - there's no counter space - but all the restaurants in Ortigia are within a comfortable walk, and most of them are FANTASTIC and very well priced so it didn't matter. The rooftop terrace is simply breathtaking, as are the French doors that open onto the Mediterranean in the bedroom and kitchen. Stephanie's recommendations were excellent - our favorite restaurant and our favorite breakfast spot were her suggestions. We were very very happy with our choice of lodging!

Lovely flat and very well appointed with great outlook over the bay from the terrace. Ortigia and Syracuse all accessible on foot. Parking at 10E a day adds up and not aware of parking restrictions when booking.
