Loved it all, standing on our little balcony people watching with a glass of wine, exploring the hotel’s salon, looking at the beautiful pictures and costumes, the location, the bed, the amazing shower. It’s a very special hotel and the staff should be proud. Breakfast was delicious, the coffee was superb and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful.

Great that water was provided in glass bottles but hated the amount of plastic used with the toiletries provided. Other 5* hotels often provide refillable good quality toiletries these days. Also such a lot of waste on the breakfast tray, a nice buffet would be less wasteful - saying that the breakfast was delicious.

Didn’t have breakfast. Great position. Incredibly quiet in spite of five balconies onto the main square. Charming staff. Huge room, two armchairs. I reserve particular rancour for “doubles” that only seat one, and so should you.

Nothing really. Traditional rather than cutting edge but that was what we were expecting and they delivered.

The room is totally inappropriate for travelers with usual luggage. No drawers, smallest closet, no hooks for hanging up. The room designer appears not to be a traveller.

Only one bathrobe for two. Toiletries for men and women, we were two women, replaced quickly. Would have appreciated a bathtub for the price. Drinking water bottles and coffee tea not fully replaced per day

In the center of old town. Staff was friendly, extremely clean. Bathroom toiletries where top notch! large room, Great coffee machine. very comfortable.

The hotel was in an amazing location! The staff were so helpful in recommending places to go, and when they found out I was an English teacher and was a fan of Ernest Hemingway, they eagerly offered to take us up to the room where he stayed when he visited in the 1950s and 60s. My Partner said it was one of the best hotel experiences he has ever had. Pamplona has been one of our favorite stops this trip and our stay at the hotel was a huge part of it!

Little bit noisy from the street but that's a reasonable trade for being on the best street in Pamplona.

The Gran La Perla is in the centre of the Old City and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. If one was to stay during the Annual Bull run and your room was at the back of the hotel the bulls would run under your balcony.

The staff were just delightful, the breakfast was brilliant, the location was terrific.

The bed was slightly hard for my taste, but that was a small issue when everything else was so good.
