Lovely clean property in a good location. We really enjoyed sitting in the pretty garden especially as the Red Arrows flew over, an added bonus.

We’ve had a lovely time in this beautiful, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and well equipped apartment. Great location, five mins from the beach, good restaurants, bars ,shops and supermarkets. Pretty garden with garden furniture. Very nice, thoughtful host. We can’t wait to return!

King size beds were very comfortable and linen of good quality. Bedrooms had sufficient storage, and plenty of electrical sockets. Both bathrooms were to a high spec. and the kitchen was very well equipped. The lounge was large, with comfy sofas and Netflix on the TV (a welcome addition) - there was a lovely view of the nearby church and the sea could be seen from the bay window. Very pleased with owner's communication and they were VERY helpful. Overall, I would highly recommend.

Little sea sparkle was everything we wished for and more. It was the perfect retreat. Beautifully decorated, comfy bed, very clean and fully equipped kitchen. Great location with everything within walking distance. Katherine and Michael were great hosts, we didn't meet them but they were very helpful and communication was excellent from start to finish. We’ve just returned home after a great week staying at Little Sea Sparkle in Mumbles. As first time visitors to The Gower we found it ideally located as it is only a short walk to get to the sea front and shops/restaurants and all the lovely beaches and attractions of The Gower are a short drive away. The property was perfect for a couple. It is furnished to a high standard and has everything you could possibly need in a self catering property together with thoughtful extras such as picnic blankets. The property was well maintained and very clean on arrival. Outside there are three seating areas and from the top of the garden you can sit having a drink with a lovely view of the bay. We didn’t meet Katherine and Michael due to COVID-19 restrictions, but they were great friendly hosts. Communications were good and they were easily contactable and responsive, although we didn’t have any need. The only thing to be aware of, which wasn’t a great problem, is that you can’t park directly outside the property as it is on a narrow road with no room for another car to pass, so you have to unload/load quickly and hope another car doesn’t come. It was more of a problem for us as we had taken bikes and had to take the bike rack on and off to leave it in the private garden. There is off road parking in a garage, but this is up the hill at the end of the garden and it didn’t have doors, so we couldn’t leave the bike rack in there securely. Beautiful apartment. Everything we needed, and more.

After months of working through lockdown we were ready for some relaxation at the coast and Little Sea Sparkle was the perfect place to unwind. Katherine is a very helpful, friendly and informative host, rightly proud of their beautiful property. Despite some necessary changes to arrival and leaving times due to covid-19 extra sanitation regulations, the apartment was bright and welcoming, and we were immediately at home. A quiet bedroom with big comfy bed, new sparkling bathroom with powerful shower, extremely well-equipped kitchen with a big table and comfy sofas in a lounge with a beautiful view were everything we needed. Not to mention the lovely garden with its own glimpse of the bay. Mumbles and The Gower offer a long promemade around the Bay, fabulous coastal walks, huge sandy beaches - all good for the soul! There are some quality shops and cafes (try The Front Room), pubs and restaurants were still closed during our stay but thanks to the local M&S, Co-op and takeaways, we ate in the garden most evenings. With its top quality fixtures, thoughtful attention to detail and friendly communication, Little Sea Sparkle gave us a perfect home from home in a lovely area.

Everything at Little Sea Sparkle was excellent. Cleanliness is very important to me and this is one of the few places I have stayed in that have met my high standards. Quality soaps and shower gel in the bathrooms and plenty of kitchen products provided. Very useful welcome basket provided with bread , milk and butter and much more. We had to leave early due to corona virus lock down but we hope to return soon.

A great stay in a lovely apartment. Very clean & well thought out with all those little extras. Felt like home & could stayed a lot longer.katherine really helpful & lots of information given. The greeting on the chalk board was lovely touch. Great places to eat. Fantastic beaches & coastal walks with lots to do in Swansea. Would highly recommend the Mumbles & this property. But then I am biased I am Welsh!!

Fantastic - Apartment the best we have stayed in - everything has been thought of - Kathrine was very friendly and helpful. We have had 5 days of sunshine and 1 day off torrential rain but as we were in such a lovely apartment we were not too upset.

Fabulous property well worth the price. Weather was appalling but it didn’t matter as the property is so warm and comfortable it was no hardship to stay indoors and when the rain stopped it was easy to walk to the local amenities. Slight hitch booking, for some reason when paying , twice it came up that “cannot take payment at the moment “ which resulted in my trying again and again. The owners of the property, however ended up with three requests from me but a quick email to them sorted the problem. Don’t know why this should have happened??!! Overall though the info on website was easy to navigate and descriptions of the property accurate.

Our first stay at Little Sea Sparkle and we will be back! A lovely cosy, comfortable and immaculate apartment which had everything we needed, including the garage which is a rarity in the village where it's mostly on-street parking. The garden is lovely and we even managed to sit out a couple of days between showers, or as Katherine said 'downpours'! The apartment and garden are a peaceful haven in Oystermouth and just a short walk from restaurants, pubs and shops. Given that we were so close to everything, we didn't expect the apartment to be so quiet, it was lovely. Oyster Warfe, just down the road, is new to us and has restaurants and a very convenient Coop. LSS is well placed for exploring the local area and some of the Gower bays on foot: we walked from the apartment to Limeslade along the back roads and then onto Langland, on the coast path. As it had begun to rain, rather than head for Caswell we decided to do a smaller circular walk and headed up from Rotherslade to Five Ways and down Newton Road for lunch before heading back. We were a bit damp and cold when we got in, so put the heating on to warm up which didn't take long - the heating system is very efficient and the apartment was very cosy within half an hour! Katherine was lovely and very welcoming and helpful. The welcome pack was great and we found a couple of lovely surprises in the fridge which we enjoyed on our first evening!

Just returned from a lovely week in The Mumbles. Little Sea Sparkle was a perfect getaway, the wonderful hosts had thought of everything, including a much appreciated welcome pack on arrival (and beer in the fridge!) and they popped by briefly the following morning to make sure we had settled in and found everything okay. The apartment had everything we could wish for and was to a very high spec with some lovely little touches. And having bathroom robes and slippers available was very plush! Although the weather was mixed we did get to enjoy some time in the lovely garden and particularly enjoyed sitting in the courtyard area for an evening drink. The lounge was also a nice place to relax in during the evenings and has lovely views of the local church and seafront beyond. The garage was a real bonus - whilst up the top of the road, with so many local residents having to make do with street parking it felt a real luxury! The Mumbles itself has a large number of restaurants and pubs (several offering local ales) and we made good use of the wonderful coastal path. It was a wonderful week and we can't recommend Little Sea Sparkle highly enough - if we could lift the apartment up and take it to all the other places in the UK we still want to visit we certainly would! However as we can't do that we will just have to make a return visit to The Mumbles!

As soon as you open the door you realise you have entered a property designed and looked after with loving care. Every eventuality is catered for, so nice to find a beer in the fridge and a Gin and Tonic, quite apart from the thoughtful welcome hamper. You will feel at home straight away and enjoy the tasteful décor, the comfortable bedrooms, lovely showers in the bathrooms and a lounge which encourages you to relax and enjoy your surroundings. Overall a lovely experience.
