Very convenient location, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, quiet room.

The mattresses were a bit stiff.

The owners couldn't have been more nicer or more helpful and the Gasthof is lovely. My bicycle had a problem en route (a stud on the rack broke and and I had to "hand carry" luggage for 20 km) but I able to get it into the excellent bike shop in the high street (60 m away). During breakfast, the owners phoned them without my asking and it was sorted by the time my excellent breakfast was finished. Had I had the bike there was a locked garage to store it. I also had the unbelievable luxury of a big bath - it would not surprise me if the owners gave me that room knowing that I was (an old goat) cycling 100 km over a few big hills from OberBayern on what turned out to be a hot day. I also really appreciated the personalised note on my door with all the other helpful info presented - especially as this was the day the hotel was closed (Ruhetag). Unlike some properties that I have stayed at - that did not prove in any way prove to be a problem and all info for checking in was sorted out in advance. As noted, the hotel is ideally located off the main street (and 300 metres from the railway station) and there are a number of excellent restaurants, bars and shops.

Super friendly staff. Due to car trouble is was delayed for arrival, but the just put out the key for me, I was leaving early so the prepared a breakfast sandwich to go. Nice room

At one of the hottest days I really missed aircon. The stairs to the room was steep and "see through" which my dogs did not like.
