Lovely hosts, very clean, freshly finished rooms. Good parking. Good nespresso coffee machine and pods provided.

Bedroom area was very warm although it was only moderately warm outside. Fan was noisy but necessary to maintain a comfortable temperature. Acoustic insulation was inadequate. Noises from neighbouring rooms were quite loud.

The hosts were so lovely and they really went out of their way for us in a number of ways. Accomodation was really nice, great area, spacious, warm and comfy. The shower was amazing.

What a total gem. This property is unique and fun; with so many wonderful touches provided by the hosts. It was comfortable and functional; but kitted out to such a high standard. We were greeted by the friendly host and given a very warm welcome. Communication was fantastic and despite it being a very last minute booking; the host was very accommodating in every way. Will definitely be returning and soon!

Really interesting conversion in gorgeous surroundings. The apartment was spacious and had anything you could ask for. Ruth was a super friendly host and very accommodating.

Our hosts at Claron Lodge were welcoming, helpful and a pleasure to meet! The room was impeccably, clean, comfortable and they provided us with everything we needed. We loved the fact that they provide highvis vests as there are no street lights and lots of information of the local area. We loved our stay and wish we could have staye dofr longer! Thank you both so much ❤️

Didn’t like being told me and my son weren’t welcome after paying over £700 ‘ greeted’ by a sour faced woman who was quick to tell us we couldn’t stay as sopposedly this accommodation was adult only. She was joined by her partner who told us the accommodation was not suitable for a man and his 12 year old son. When I queried why not when the accommodation had a bed plus sofa bed I was told the sofa bed was at extra cost This was not apparent from the advertising To be left at 7pm with a 12 year old with nowhere to stay after a 6 hour drive was a big problem I did find somewhere another 30 minutes away

The accommodation was very well equipped and comfortable and the owners most amenable and helpful with out ever being obtrusive.

Being a Passive Haus the property was very warm due to its thermal integrity, my visit being during a period of extreme heat and little or no breeze. There was a fan but it was no match for the blazing heat of mid July.
