It was a great experience to enjoy Nendaz from the balcony of this very nice penthouse.

relaxing, exactly as advertised, great place for summer or winter!!

We were 16 people ages 6 to 80 and we all enjoyed the apartments and all the facilities very much.

Chris’s property is as it is on the pictures. The pool is brilliant with great views of the mountain and we often had it to ourselves. We drove and didn’t need the car at all during the week as the property is so well located. It was clean, well maintained, incredible views and perfect for 3 families. There’s a little slope (with a magic carpet) right outside so from the balcony you can watch the children sledging down or if they are beginners learning to ski. We are looking for our next ski holiday and finding somewhere that’s modern, a walk to the slopes and town, with a pool is proving tricky as Chris’s is hard to beat.

The apartment was great and very spacious. The two kitchens were very handy . We were only 7 adults , two children and a baby and there’s was lots of room for us all. We cooked every evening and there are lots of saucepans and kitchen implements. The Télécabine isn’t far and the lift to it is very helpful! Our group consisted of total beginners to very good skiers and the resort catered for all of us, including a non skier. Everybody had a great time and would love to come again. Chris was very helpful with his information. Thanks again.

The appartment was perfect for our whole family. There is a lot of space and it's also perfect for children. The communication with the owner works really well. The housekeeper is also really nice. We enjoyed the swimming pool. It's close to the ski area (at walking distance).

With the swimming pool and the Sauna in the first floor this is a good change after the skiing or if there is a bad weather day. Having the tobogan slope literally in front of the house this is absolutely perfect if you are there with kids. Ours really enjoyed it... :-) The apartment is also perfectly located within Nendaz - 5mins by foot to the centre with all the Supermarkets and restaurants. Also handy is the funiculaire just 2mins away which brings you directly to the gondola station. All in all a fantastic week and we can completely recommend the Penthouse. Really enjoyed our stay, in Apartment 15 and 16. Great views, amazing location comfortable, Modern and spacious. The attention to detail was perfect. Can not fault anything. Chris is really accommodating and extremely helpful. Definitely recommended.

Chris’ property was wonderful, and particularly well suited to large groups! We were 11 and had no problem finding room to spread out. Everything you needed to be comfortable was provided. Haute Nandez’ village was quaint and had many good eateries. We visited many other cities in Switzerland from this location and Chris’ suggestions of local places to tour were terrific. The only reason I would not rate this property a 5 is that there were many extra costs I would not have expected. Generally when I rent an entire house, it includes all bedrooms. At the Chalet, per person bedding costs were extra as was a cleaning fee outside of the cleaning/damage deposit required. Even for people like us who are “rule followers” the requirements for sorting rubbish and taking it into town and making sure each utensil, etc was left in the correct side of the house, was a bit stressful. That being said, we would definitely stay again. Chris is immensely responsive and made certain our arrival was simple and our departure the same.

We (7 adults and 5 small children) had a wonderful week in Nendaz. The house is very spacious and well maintained. The pool is a very big +, especially for our children. We went there every afternoon to warm up from skiing in -16 C. The location is great. The slope in front of the house was great for sleighing for both children and adults. And the supermarket is also very close by. Even with the cold and extra snow later in the week, we had no trouble at all to get to the appartment. We would love to come again next year! We were a group of 12 friends, a mix of couples and singles, and a baby. We stayed over the Aug 1 weekend, and couldn't have picked a better place! The apartment is comfortable, spacious, and modern, and you basically have a 270 degree view of mountains from the windows. The location is great: easy access to walking trails (especially along the Bisses), grocery stores, and parks. We spent the weekend hiking, BBQing, and just relaxing enjoying the views. One thing to note: the family rooms sleep 4, but there is only a thin partition between the beds. So there is some visual privacy but no sound isolation. It worked out for us, but just make sure you if you're sharing one of the family rooms, it's either with someone who doesn't snore, or that you're a deep sleeper! Overall we had a lovely stay, and would definitely come back if we're back in the region. Thanks!

We just completed a wonderful two family summer vacation in the penthouse which is nice and spacious with plenty of bed options. The view is superb, the location is great, the pool is delightful and the owner could not be more helpful.

The "extended" Costa family - all its 15 members - are now at home, back from their marvellous vacations in Switzerland. We want also to inform you that your property - Domaine des Reines Esther apts 15 and 16 - fullfilled all our expectations. The acommodations were very comfortable to all of us, and every facility worked properly. This was affirmed by a very severe judgement - my wife´s! Finally, the beautiful sights and ski facilities offered by Haute-Nendaz were an important component of our satisfaction. This was a very pleasant time. This was our 5th stay in the penthouse. We always travel with 4 families and the place is perfect for a group of families with kids: - 2 kitchens, so plenty of space to cook - 2 dining tables, so adults and kids can sit separate- together - 2 living rooms, one for the kids to play ,one for the adults to talk or watch a movie - enough room, bathrooms, to give every family enough privacy when needed - 2 wonderful sunny terraces to enjoy the sun Next to this, large warm enough pool, sauna Close to the skilift, in front of the chalet there is a sleigh slope with lift for the small kids. Everything in the penthouse is of top quality, and everything is there you could need to cook, play, watch movies, read, swim.... Chris is always fast is responding and can rely on a fantastic caretaker and his team in Nendaz. Looking forward to our 6, 7, 8 ...th stay.

Beautiful chalet apartment with spectacular views out over the mountains. A joy to sit and just appreciate the stunning setting. We all enjoyed the wonderful pool having a daily dip or some time relaxing in the sauna. A real treat after long walks in the mountains. Fantastically well equipped apartment with everything you could need for a big group. The towelling robes were a great touch for use whilst at the pool. Kids were mesmerised by the huge collection of dvd's and games , and all managed to get some screen time with one of the four televisions! A really wonderful place in a stunning part of the world. Thank you for all the preholiday info and advice too- really appreciated.

We were group of 4 families with kids booked 2 identical penthouse apartments for 5 nights, which was connected via living room. The apartment is well maintained with top class amenities (Sauna, swimming pool, plenty of kitchen utensils, kids games etc.,). 4 bedrooms had en-suite providing plenty of privacy. We had bit of struggle reaching the apartment due to closure of access street due to local festival, but the caretaker was promptly assisted us to locate the place. Caretaker was kind enough to explain the facilities, even though the details of the facilities were provided as a document, well before the arrival. The apartment is situated closer to wonderful picturesque valley with plenty of walking routes. Supermarket, pharmacy and plenty of restaurants are in walking distance. However, please bear in mind anything you buy in Swiss (in general) is very costly, so it is worth carrying the trip items as as much as possible.

Excellent in Winter for skiing, and just as good in Summer for sun-bathing and lazing about in 32C. The peaceful location, excellent facilities and a fabulous vista made a lasting impression on the first timers; as did the pool and the PS3 for the youngsters. Truly disappointed when we had to leave but would certainly recommend to all. Only 5 of us this time so there was loads of room. Nearby supermarkets and occasional restaurant visits supplemented everything we needed whilst using the penthouse as a base for visiting events around Lake Geneva.

We had a wonderful stay in the penthouse....the summer weather was glorious - we spent long afternoons sunbathing on the terrace and very pleasant evenings either having a BBQ at home or eating at one of the many wonderful restaurants within easy walking distance. We did a couple of fantastic walks in the mountains and swam both in the outdoor and indoor pools. Staying so close to the Italian border, we decided to hop over to Lake Maggiore for a couple of days which was wonderful and the scenery driving over the Simplon Pass was magnificent. The highlight for the children was a trip to the tree top adventure park in Crans Montana....well worth a visit. Nendaz is a very lovely mountain village and the Penthouse, with its magnificent views all around, is the perfect place to stay. It's very well equipped, spacious and spotlessly clean. We are very likely to return to enjoy another holiday there.

This was our fourth stay in this lovely apartment - twice for family skiing (highly recommended) and twice in Summer. It is a great spot for hiking or biking. There are mountain lifts or postbuses to take you all over the 4 Valleys or you can walk along the lovely "Bisses" (irrigation channels). We used the pool every day and soaked up the sun on the adjoining terrace or in the privacy of one of the roof terraces (lus BBQ!). Local restaurants are gerat and you can walk to them, the bars and shops in a matter of minutes. The apartment has everything you could possibly think of and is very comfortable, bright and airy. The views are superb!! We hope to be back!

We (3 families with kids) had a really pleasant stay at the penthouse. The living room is really spacious, there's a nice swimming pool and housekeeper was really friendly. And the ski lifts at an easy 10 min walk. What else could you ask for.
