Neighbourhood was nice - quiet. The rooms were a good size and comfortable and the garden was pleasant. Property was not far from the port and the bars and restaurants. Host seemed nice enough.

Tea and coffee facilities were offered but inadequate - 1 half-used can of instant coffee and a few tea bags; 1 kettle, 4 cups and saucers but no plates, wine glasses or cutlery in case we wanted to make a snack. No washing up soap to wash our used coffee cups, no cleaning materials. We had booked for 9 days but had to ask for clean towels and the bed linen was not changed once. No discernible cleaning done by the host, though having said that, the place was spotless when we arrived.

Very quiet area. The room has a wonderful view of the sunrise on the Golf of Marseille. Beautiful garden, good breakfast and very nice owners.

Beautiful room with private bathroom and WC, all very comfortable. In a quiet area but only 10 minutes walk to the city center and beautiful port. The garden and pool are very beautiful and Michèle and her husband were very welcoming! We enjoyed a good breakfast as well, with fresh watermelon, yogurt, a great baguette (butter and jam with it), and a lemon cake!

My partner being tall and king-size bed would have been perfect, but we slept quite well in spite of it. A bin in the bedroom would have been handy (there was one in the bathroom). This was the last night of our holiday we wish we had stayed longer!

We’ve stayed in 10 different places in France during this visit, with mostly great experience, and were in for an unpleasant surprise with this one: no one met us (!!) and no one saw us off either ... hosts were unfriendly and uncommunicative (even not knowing English wasn’t a problem with other places). Generally the room was good with a scenic view, but it’s by far not rare here

No breakfast taken as we needed to leave early. comfortable, very clean accommodation.

No sign on the house to indicate we were at the Mer et Soleil.
